Hello ladies,
This is my first post but i have been reading the Forum for a while now.

I am 20 and i have notice my face sags a lot when i look down or bend over, sometimes if i place a mirror in my legs and look down into it to apply make up on the bus my face sags too much. In a normal position my face look normal.
Is this normal at my age? Can anyone help me with ideas about how to fix it? My mom does not want to take me to plastic surgeon, she thinks is normal to look saggy when looking down.
I hope i am not ageing quicker than the other people my age.
I use cleaning lotion, eye contour serum and day cream everyday and at night i use day cream again.

I think this is called gravity and is normal. Plastic surgeon at your age?? I feel bad for young people if they are considering this treatment at such a young age. Too much TV and magazines ads.

Thanks for your answer Bogaboo, my mom think the same as you.
But i have see pictures of babies on top of a mirror and looking down at the mirror, and their faces are firm and dont sag due gravity when they look down, so not everybody have this gravity effect when looking down in a mirror, babies dont.

Hi Chengcheng! Welcome! I think that is normal for things to sag slightly more when looking down due to gravity. If you feel like your skin is too lack, at your young age I would try increasing your daily water intake & see if that helps to plump up your skin more. Also it's never too early to start taking care of your skin by using a good daily antioxidant serum and sunscreen. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure as they say!

Thanks doodlebug, i will follow your advice Smile
Can you recommend me a good antioxidant serum for my age? Or do you think i can use my mom's serums? She is 46, not sure if different ages needs different serums.

I would just look for something high in antioxidants like vitamins c, E or plant based antioxidants like green tea or pomegranate. Vitamin c serums are the gold standard for antioxidants, if your mom has a product that is high in antioxidants, I'd definitely use hers if she's willing to share! This skin care additiction can get expensive! Lol
