I'm looking for new living room and dining room furniture...what brands hold up well?...I want something that you see in Southern Living or Pottery Barn magazines...traditional and doesn't easily go out of style.
I would love it if the couch had slipcovers so that I could change them with the seasons.
Thanks for any suggestions!

Hi Mary,
If you want traditional, timeless furniture like in Southern Living or Pottery Barn, go with Pottery Barn, Ethan Allen, Crate & Barrel, or Restoration Hardware. For slipcovered sofas you can change seasonally, Pottery Barn’s York or Comfort collections, Ethan Allen’s Bennett Roll-Arm, and Restoration Hardware’s Belgian Linen sofas are great choices. When planning your space, you might also consider professional furnishing and styling services to help select pieces that match your vision perfectly. For dining, stick to solid wood tables and chairs in classic finishes like walnut, cherry, or oak. Slipcovers in cotton or linen blends are easiest to rotate and wash. These brands and styles hold up well and won’t go out of style quickly. |
