Wow....thank you for thinking of me!!
I am doing well. Today is my 1 week "anniversary" so to speak and I am feeling much better than I expected to .
The first few days were no fun, for sure. But the percoset really helps with the pain. The one thing I didn't anticipate was how hard it is on your back!! I am using a walker and won't be allowed to stand upright for about another week or so. Even being propped up continually has been very painful on my rump and lower back(but small price, I know!) Surgeon said it went well. He said I was all muscle and skin, so no lipo was needed, which was great to hear.
So so SO happy it is done and behind me~
A quick vent and then I will close....
The morning of the surgery I was scheduled to arrive at the hospital at 6:30am. We dropped off kids at Grammas house and I had everything ready the night before so we could beat traffic and get there in time.
I asked husband to set the alrm for 4:30am. He agreed. Imagine my horror when I awoke at 7:15!!
My husband sets his clock every morning for work at 5am. Never a problem. Seems this one little time----HE FORGOT!!!!!!!!!
LIVID!! I was LIVID!!
Sadly my 42 yr old husband frequently exhibits the responsibility of a 14 yr old. I should have set the alarm clock myself. Live and learn. He hasn't been the most enthusiastic about the surgery, so I can't help but wonder if in his subconcious mind he wouldn't have minded so much if we forgot the whole thing altogether. (Ha...Not on your life, babe.)
Men. Geesh.
Thank you for the good thoughts!! I am taking my supplements, Sharky!!
I'm on my mom's computer so I may not be around for a bit. Will be back soon, tho. Miss my daily dose of skincare "saturation"!!!

Great going. Walking around is hard at first but it does help. Now that you're feeling better the most important thing is do not get constipated.
I'm sure you'll love your new shape and it will be worth it.
P.S. My dh is a lovie but even at 50 he needs directions on how to put things in the dishwasher, I agree MEN . |

| Hi Lisa! It’s completely normal to feel nervous. Make sure you follow all post-op instructions, wear your compression garment, and get plenty of help at home, especially with your 8-month-old. If you’re having a tummy tuck in NYC, plan for recovery support and take it slow. Don’t lift or bend too much, and focus on resting and healing. Swelling and soreness are normal the first few weeks. With proper care and support, recovery goes smoother than expected, and you’ll see great results. |
