I was going to order this because I was told it could be used all over the face for to prevent/correct dark spots. I read the directions on EDS and, apprently, you're supposed to spot treat. I can't spot treat if I tried (discolorations too diffuse) Will the rest of my face lighten if I use it all over? Help! I can't wait too much longer before I order -my credit card is jumping out of my wallet every 2 minutes!!!  |

 i think if you are using something else for you face you will need to apply phyto + before anything else preferably evning, the results are spectacular ,i nave a friend she used it for few monts and her sun spots uder the eyes faded then she stoped using it and started with vit c for anti -wrinkles. |

Hi Marina,
This was what I was concerned as well and so I wrote to Skinceuticals and this is their response...( btw, I asked them if I should apply it all over or only on pigmentation area and what is the correct step..should the phyto+ goes on first or the B5 gel..)..HTH 
The Phyto+ is intended to be
used on all areas including the pigmented area. There may actually be
underlying areas that are vulnerable to producing more pigmentation. As
far as applying, you should apply the phyto+ directly after the VitaminC
formulation. |

I was about to post the same thing as you, Ling, but now I will just add. On the Skinceuticals website, their regime also says that you can use phyto + twice a day.
AM REGIME
Step One: Cleanse and Tone
Use a SkinCeuticals cleanser and toner as directed by your skincare professional or following the directions on the package.
Step Two: Antioxidant Treatment
Apply a thin layer of a SkinCeuticals antioxidant serum to the entire face, neck, and chest, avoiding eye area. Allow 3-5 minutes before applying additional products.
Step Three: Hydrate, Lighten, or Calm
Apply 2-3 drops of SkinCeuticals Hydrating B5 Gel, Phyto +, or Phyto Corrective Gel to the entire face, neck, and chest, avoiding eye area.
Step Four: Moisturize*
Use a SkinCeuticals moisturizer as directed by your skincare professional or following the directions on the package.
Step Five: Sun Protection
Use a broad-spectrum a SkinCeuticals sun screen as directed by your skincare professional or following the directions on the package.
*If you are using a SkinCeuticals corrective cream such as Skin Firming Cream or Face Cream, apply it in place of a moisturizer in Step Four.
PM REGIME

Use a SkinCeuticals exfoliator as directed by your skincare professional or following directions on the package.

Step Four: Moisturize**
Use a SkinCeuticals moisturizer as directed by your skincare professional or following the directions on the package.
