gracedhy actually I voted bad reaction because it irritated my skin but I was not impressed at all with the mask anyway. Yes I experienced a cooling sensation due to the menthyl lactate in the product but I also felt some irritation when I had the mask on. My face felt a little greasy when I rinsed it off and I can honestly say that my skin did not look so great afterwards. Maybe this is due to the fact that it was irritating my skin but I definetly did not have a glow and my pores did not look refined. I do believe that it did help moisturize my skin some but I was not super impressed with the hydrating abilities of the mask.
The first ingredient is water, the second mineral oil, the third propylene glycol, the next three are DNAs then the menthyl lactate. I suppose that the mineral oil can act as a barrier to keep moisture in and the DNAs can help with hydration. Other than cooling the skin I am not sure what the benefits of the menthyl lactate are supposed to be. I know it is a derivative of menthol. So if it is anything like menthol it may work by slightly irritating the skin which could cause increased blood flow resulting in a temporary glow to the skin. Judging from my experience with the mask and looking at the ingredients, I honestly cannot say why this mask is or should be so fantastic.

I am waiting for the Renewing Pack devotees on our forum to give their opinions. From what we have been reading on the forum, I would expect the totally impressed option to win!
