So, I'm on day 2 (Whoo-hoo! - Oh, wait, I still have 2.95 more months to go!) of the Nu Derm.
I don't have the Action - because I ordered the 6 piece kit for Normal/Dry - Sensitive skin. (Cleanser, Toner, Clear, Blender, Exfoderm and Sunfader). However, I do feel a bit dry - and in need of some moisturization. But, reading up on the Nu Derm system, I think I'm supposed to avoid adding any other moisturizer, or it'll slow down the process, right?
What do you ladies on Nu Derm do when you're feeling dry? Just grin and bear it in the name of beauty???

Grin and bear it, taobunny, sorry! No moisturizers on Nu Derm. You are "remodeling" your skin so to speak, so at the end of your 18 weeks you won't need moisturizers, and you are right it will slow down the process. However, if you want you can replace your Sunfader with the regular Obagi sunscreen, or the ZO Oclipse sunscreen (or any good sunscreen of your choice), and they are usually "moisturizing" feeling. Make sense?  |
