Apparently there is no .01 % Retin-A cream... only gel. I was told there isn't a .025 % cream either just gel. Shock

Maybe I should wait a bit and order Obagi brand tetrinoin...

My obagi journey feels like an Obagi farce. (Not because of the product but because of the silly circumstances.)

callalilly, have you considered ordering Retin A through an online source? You probably could get it cheaper. I have used the Obagi Retin A and it is good. I can't tell any difference between it and any other Retin A I have used!

Hi Callalily,
My physician prescribed 0.025% retin a cream for me when I first started Obagi. I've since ordered 0.05% from AllDayChemist a few months ago with no problems with my order or with shipping. Hope things are going well!

Thank you for your answer rileygirl. I did not check the name of the cleanser before posting, but I went back and double checked. I got the
"gentle cleanser", because I asked for the normal/dry skin kit.
When I wash my face with it I feel it dry afterwards, once I put the other products on I feel it great with just some little areas a bit dry, like my under eye lids and corners of my nose.
I am just a bit nervous my skin eventually dries up and wrinkles more, but I will tough it up for the 6 following weeks.

You're welcome, Margarett. Unfortunately, the dryness is part of the Nu Derm process. I know it can make the wrinkles seem worse, but try your best to "tough it out", and you will be very pleased with your results. After the all important 6 weeks, if you really cannot take the dryness of the cleanser, you can probably use another gentle cleanser and witch hazel for your cleanser/toner combo. Also, Obagi's C cleanser is a "cleanser/toner" in one, so you could try that, but I actually find that one more drying than the Nu Derm gentle cleanser!

I was wondering if I could get a professional facial peel. They said I could, but I'd have to stop the Obagi for a couple of days prior. What do you think about that idea??

It would probably help a lot. The products will definitely penetrate better, and you may get better results. Just my 2 cents!
