Details:
active ingredient 25% Zinc Oxide, Non-Nano
Application: goes on thicker & whiter than other sunscreens I have tried such as Burnout and Blue Lizard and chem screens. However, it soon fades to invisible.
Esthetics: leaves skin feeling slightly moist and tacky (unlike the others listed above) - this is not a problem for me since I do not have oily skin. It feels similar to regular moisturizers.
Results: I have not worn it out in full sun yet, only worn it out and about and at work - but my bigger concern is UVA, so hard to tell how it performs for UVB until I wear it at the pool/beach/slopes/boat
I have not been able to find information which would tell me how much better a 25% ZnO formula performs against UVA than a 20% sunscreen, for example.
Conclusion: I would buy this again. The packaging and website are very clear and forthcoming with respect to details regarding the product.
I paid $16.50 for 4 ounces. This is a good deal to me.
