I really need to share this! I am a very fit 45 yo woman who's been struggling with cellulite since my early twenties. By cellulite, I don't mean a few dimples here and there, but heavy cellulite all over my thighs and buttocks. I spent the last 20 years trying to get rid of it by drinking plenty of water, eating right, dieting, exercising, exfoliating -and I even gave a couple of creams/lotions a try.

A couple of weeks ago my acupunctrist used vaccuum cupping on my back (not for cellulite -just for back pain Wink. She commented cupping could help me improve my circulatory system, and eventually reduce my cellulite, and told me where I could buy a good quality set for around 30$.

I started using my vaccuum cupping set daily It is pretty straigth forward: you insert a plastic cup on a small plastic hand pump, you pump one stroke, then you "glide" the plastic cup over your skin to achieve something similar to a deep tissue massage. A neutral massage oil applied on skin helps the cup glide better. You'll find a couple of videos on Youtube that will show you how to do it. I do the cupping for about 20 minutes on each leg (until the skin becomes reddish). Careful, if you leave the cup too long on one spot (or if you pump to vigorously), you might end up with a couple of small bruises.

Results so far are exciting: I'd say my cellulite is 25-30% less visible in just 2 weeks. I still can't believe how effective it is. Can't wait to see the results after a full month.

This is my story. I think the roots of cellulite differ from on individual to another -sometimes it is related to lifestyle, or genes, or else- so it is logical to think that a given treatment will work wonders for some, not all. That being said, I really encourage you to try this approach. It's cheap. And it is working for me. I don't know about side effects or risks so I suggest you discuss this with your doctor or natural health specialist, just in case. The idea is to get rid of the cellulite in a safe, healthy way!

Cheers

Wow, thank you. That looks promising!

Mars,
I actually watched that show and it was astonishing how fast the cellulite was gone, and such a quick recovery. The doc has been at it for 2 years as I recall and never had to do a repeat on any patients! Very Happy
