Trial and error for each individual.
Give up dairy.
Give up stress... Learn deep relaxation.
Try EFT (YouTube search will teach you it.)
Calm your inflammatory response, take turmeric/ holy basil/ reishi.
Find acupressure points that calm immune system well for you.
Hydrate and moisturise well from within: drink enough good water and consume enough good oil, make sure your digestion is happy - supplement with green smoothies and probiotics.

As I've shared before, I used to have eczema on my eyelids for years. But when I got systemic candidiasis and had to change my diet in 1993(gluten-free, no dairy, no sugar, no fermented products, no yeast, no additives...and ate more of an alkaline-forming diet (http://rense.com/1.mpicons/acidalka.htm)) and was taking supplements of garlic, caprylic acid, a potent multi high in antioxidants, omega oils, and a probiotic, and won my battle over systemic yeast, I seem to also solve my problems with hay fever and my eczema. I don't know if this way of eating well will make a difference to everyone but it won't hurt to eat foods believed to boost the body's immune system (alkaline forming foods)--what have you got to lose, eh?
The other thing I that I have read that works is coconut oil which has already been mentioned. Coconut oil is supposed to be a great moisturizer for skin anyway (http://www.coconut-connections.com/skin_care.htm) so if it also works on eczema, then it'll be a win-win situation. |
