The black, sleek lines of Evie on the white snowy background look beautiful.
Oh! for some snow, it's been so hot here - the heat has been unrelenting. I've been down at the beach all day. The weather is so extreme everywhere in the world at the moment. |

You have to use a photo image hosting website, like Photobucket or TinyPic. Upload your photo to the website, then copy and paste the appropriate link (the one for forums etc) in to your post. |

Very cute Ava - what's her name and does she talk?
I had a budgie once called Buddy. He used to just fly around the house, he'd even sit on my shoulder whilst I did the vacuuming. But one day he was sitting on my daughter's head and she didn't realise it and she opened the door - and out he flew. I was completely devastated - for months afterwards, every time I heard a bird tweet I'd be looking skyward, searching the heavens for him. |

Her name is Sprocket (not sure how that happened but it stuck.) No talking yet, she's only a year and a half old, so hoping that will come. I had a cockatiel before her, I bawled my eyes out for weeks when she died. Its amazing how attached to these little critters we become.
That darned beak is like a can opener though!!! I suspect she's going through a nippy phase. |

Oh dear Pleiades this little dog captured the heart of many I am sure....I was captured in just seeing his pictures. My heart goes out to you because I know he was a dear sweet little one.  Thank you for sharing with us |

The picture of your very special friend and the words you shared are so touching...I'm crying now as I type. As a pet and animal lover, I share your grief and my heart aches for you.
If the time is right, please share a story or two.
And as a believer, I know there's room for pets in Heaven! |

Thank you so, so much, Toby, rileygirl, Keliu, Kims, and MajorB.
I, too, believe we will be together again. 
The funniest thing I remember about my little guy is an episode where I had been babysitting my friend's Bichon. Perhaps I was paying a wee bit too much attention to my little ward...Delaney took exception, came over and peed on my shoes. Seems he was not only showing Gizmo (Bichon) that *I* was his property but that he(laney) was gonna show me who's boss. lol

It's wonderful memories like that which will eventually take the place of the sadness. For all the grief we feel at the end, we wouldn't change taking them in and giving our hearts to them for all the world.
