Mb395, I would post those questions to Loulou on her new board. I am not sure she is going to personally respond on this board anymore. I am sure she will be able to help you.

Thanks Bethany....true about slowing down and concentrating more at the exercises. I have been trying to do that the last week, will avoid adding reps though as I don't need to look any more tired than I do now! Laughing

Do you do both in one day? If so, at the same time or different times of the day?

I now do mine at the same time, and then take the next day off.

I would definitely assume that LouLou will not be posting here anymore.

I did post there as well....

But have you guys dealt with sore thumbs at all?

Or do any of you have implants/injections and find that these exercises may not work for you or make you look weird because of these foreign objects in the skin?

I just wanted as many opinions on this as possible

thanks

I have Radiesse in my NL area. I do a lot of Ageless cheek-lifting exercises and the bunny twitch (Yoga Face) which diretcly targets the NLs. So far, so good. I haven't developed a bicep at the end of my nose or anything like that.

Ive tried to keep up with this thread since the start - but I lost some days and am now up to pg 42...

ANYWAY.... I have a few questions...

1. Ive been using hte program for a month maybe - 4/5 times a week. I cant really see a difference...

so is it possible Im not pulling hard enough??? I definitely try...

I know that my thumbs REALLY start getting sore quickly. Dont know if anyone else has that issue - but it sucks because I feel more sore in my thumbs than in my face after the exercises. I dont really feel anything in my face afterwards.

2. 10 years ago i did a lot of stupid things such as cheek/chin implants - sculptra etc. Would these exercises still benefit me?

3. LouLou are you going to make another video for better examples of how to do the exercises? Im 80% sure Im doing them right....

THANKS

hi mb935
my thumbs get sore too-it was one of the first things i noticed, but my face also gets sore -very sore - (loulou has created a very effective technique). when they start getting sore i do a different type of hold. i grab the area i'm focusing on w/ side of my curled pointer finger and the side of my thumb - it's much more comportable and i use it when my thumb starts getting sore. you may need some tissue between hand and skin to keep a tight hold. does this make any sense?
can't help you with the implant stuff...good luck.

Toby/Anne Very Happy hi!! i was reading your post thinking, who is this mystery woman, i MUST know her. thanks SO MUCH for that share - it was really helpful.

Hi mb935 - I had sore thumbs too - but the tissue to help hold is great. And Moongoddess is right - the different hold is a good thing. I don't know anything about working with cheek or chin implants. Can you feel them when you are doing the exercises?
I would imagine the tissue beneath would push them up - it may take more effort. I am sorry I can't help there.

What are free trial exercises? I can view both day 1 and day 2 without using my password? Just wondering if there is a better showing of the exercises that I don't know about.

I myself have read the book twice and have looked at LouLou doing the exercises and I think I am the only one on this forum that just doesn't get it. I do hope that a professional video is done for each day lasting the full 5 minutes. I have no way of knowing how her business is doing at the moment but I do believe it could get really big with a video. JMO

Frodo,

LL has sent out an excerpt from the book in the past for people who have not bought yet. But I actually thought she had stopped that.

And there is not another video option for you. But several of us have discussed the need for a more professional video with LL, and I am sure she will look into options once she is totally healed from her surgery, etc.

I have pretty much given up trying to figure it out at this point. Plus, I have started using the STOP and I don't want to do anything that would make me have to wonder if the STOP is working or if it's something else in my routine. I have also cut down on my actives for the same reason. My routine right now is pretty simple which I am enjoying.

thanks for the replies...

i will definitely try a tissue. I have actually tried holding in the way described. I guess I just feel that because my face isnt sore afterwards and Im not seeing results that Im not getting a good enough grip.

I know that my implants are on the bone so I guess maybe that was a dumb question - but I just felt if I have something foreign in my face that maybe I would get a different result or maybe none at all - just something I wanted to bring up if anyone had any ideas.

thanks again!!

I have little pre-jowl implants on each side of my chin, and they have not impacted my Ageless results in the least.

Frodo - when/if you do start using Ageless again, jasminrosey is right - it will take time for you to develop a relationship w/ your facial muscles , right now it probably feels like NOTHING is happening (but something definately is). I think alot of us here have used face excercise programs, so we immediately feel the muscles engage - it's a worthwhile program, keep it on the back burner for sure!

Never been sore either and I feel like I am on the aggressive side when it comes to handling the skin.

The advice to use tissue to grab the skin is priceless - made such a difference.

Before my skin was slowly slipping thru the fingers, now I can do all 20 reps holding the skin - big difference.

Thanks.

Google.com is fabulous, in case you are not familiar with it. You can just type in the title of the book or author's name and it will give you all the relevent links.

Here is the actual publishing site where you can download it.
