I've just started using the mdforte and the tns. I use an eye cream over it (after the mdforte I wait at least a half hour for it to penetrate and to allow it to maintain the acidic ph needed to do it's thing). the cream I use is perlier rice bran eye cream. I was out of almost everything after using up my entire stash last year. At this point I'm following jj's recs and so far, so good. For morning I use other stuff or nothing. |

Wow, I read this whole thread and it's sister threads. I've been looking for an answer to the fine lines growing into not so fine lines around my eyes. I'm one of those people that smile with my eyes. Never been able to train myself not to include the skin around my eyes.
I'm currently using YBF Correct, as raved about on the Truth in Aging site. I do like it, but obviously it seems to not be clearing up any problems. Plus, it's pricey. I've been looking into a new eye cream and it seems I've found the answer here!
Now if someone could recommend an eye cream that I can use overtop and during the day. And I noticed someone earlier asked if 30s were too young to start? I'm 38, so I think not!!
Thanks jj for sharing your good fortune with us! And thanks to everyone else for adding theirs too!
Just a thought, but could you use the MDForte on forehead lines and 11s? |

Haven't seen jj around for a good week or so but I suggest perlier rice bran eye cream over top - jj recommended to me and it seems good. |

I haven't noticed any changes yet - but have only been using them for just over a week. However, I'm delighted to say that my dry skin is not experiencing any problems with either of them - although I do wear a little eye cream over the MD Forte after 30 minutes or so. |

Any Canadians out there find the TNS travel samples on our side of the border? I found some US sellers but they want to charge $22 for shipping. Makes the try outs almost as expensive as the real deal.
Thanks! |

Hi guys! I have been gone from the forum for a bit - had a tenacious, nasty flu & relapsed. Anyway, it's so good to see that this is working for some of you. I am still using the exact same thing (MDF & TNS). Sis, I do use the Perlier Rice Bran eye cream over mine and sometimes I use Neutrogena's Lift & Strengthen eye cream over the MD Forte or TNS at night. Just trying to use it up, actually, and it's a lifting eye cream, though not very silky.
One thing I have started doing is taking each of the creams (MD Forte & TNS) out from the edge of the eye to the temple. I had the beginnings of crowsfeet and now they are gone.
One night I was sick and tired of being sick and tired, so I had a nice long big baby crying session. I normally would look like Kermit when I woke up the next day if I cried the night before, but I stopped sobbing and applied the MD Forte and then TNS over that. In the morning, NO puffiness at all! Miracle products!!!! ~ JJ |

JJ - I'm so happy to see you are back with us on EDS. I've missed you.
I'm using both products with good results. I had been using the Tuck product but realized I didn't really need it most days - bags are not my issue - just some fine lines nd a little droopy on certain days - I was looking for smooth and firm and these two products are fitting the bill. I had luck in the past with Karin Herzog eye cream also but like the idea of the exfoliation of MD FORTE as well as the moisturizing of TNS. I did not have any reaction to the MDF product. My skin is very tolerant I guess. |

I missed you too, Sis! I'm so happy these are working for you. I've heard good things about the Karin Herzog as well, but I've never used it. My eye area reacted to the MD Forte at the very beginning - red, itchy, peeling. Now I can put it on with no bad side effects, just the good ones! You're so lucky to have tolerant skin. I would think that means it's thick and healthy.
My skin looked so unbelievably dull after being sick that I ordered MD Forte Skin Rejuvenation III for the rest of the face and have been using it for the past ten or so days. I loved the eye cream so much I thought I should do the rest of my face a favor. This stuff is 30% glycolic acid, but doesn't sting or burn me (probably because I drybrush and I'm used to glycolic peels). I put my SB Skin Signals over this at night and have had great results. In a few days I'll back off and probably use this as a spot treatment on 11's area and upper lip.
It's so nice to be well (don't we take it for granted?) and back to the important things - skincare and makeup!!!!! ~ JJ |

Hi, I use retin A on the eye area every other night. Would retin A replace the use of the MD Forte or do I need that too? I picked up samples of the TNS but wasn't sure if I needed the MDF as well.
Thanks! |

Hi, blesstd! Retin-a is stronger than the MD Forte, I think. At least for me it was. I have had really good results with glycolic acid for some reason. Why don't you try it with the retin-a one night and the TNS the next for a while? In less than a month you are either going to see really good results or you will know you need to add the MD Forte. If and when you do buy the MD Forte, just be sure it's the Skin Rejuvenation Eye cream. They no longer sell samples of it, unfortunately, but EDS has it. Does the retin-a cause redness and/or crepeiness around your eye area? ~ JJ |

JJ~ It's so nice to see you back! Sorry to hear you were'nt feeling well, I was wondering how you were doing.
I've been using the TNS & MD Forte but only a couple times a week so far as they're quite active for my sensitive eyes. Hoping to gradually increase use though because I think between the two they're very effective. |

Hi, brierrose! It's lovely to be back, sweet! The flu virus I had I gave to my two kitties, who returned the favor. (This was verified through the vet, BTW.) Airborne horrible old virus with lots of sneezing going on. Poor kitties breathing through their mouths and relapsing all around. We are all just fine now. Guess who was the WORST patient? The male, of course. This was like having small children at home again, but without the fun parts. Strangely, lucky DH was immune.
Your eye area sounds like mine, quite sensitive. I had to work up to using the MD Forte every other night. I think when I first began I was using it maybe twice a week, but now I can use it nightly if I want, although I still do my alternating routine. Your skin will eventually acclimate to it and thicken up. It has taken me not quite a year. ~ JJ |

Hi, DM! Thank you so much! Good to "see" you. Yep, this one definitely knocked my socks off, and it's great to be well. This virus has run rampant through Memphis. People and their pets are staying sick with this anywhere from two to ten weeks. If anyone has a cat with respiratory problems, I can help! ~ JJ |

Dreary is the perfect word, BR. I think a male anything acts like an infant when sick. lol And yes, it's like waking up to a whole new world. Talk about spring fever!!!! I'm ready to boogie!!! I need Toby's boogie emoticon. Where are my stilettos? |

Hi jj, thanks for your post. The retin A doesn't cause me redness but I do notice a slight peeling (occasionally) on my upper eye area (I don't put it on my eyelid but on the boney area near the eyebrows). I also put it on my undereye area but it doesn't cause any redness or peeling there. I can't say for the crepiness because my undereye area was/is already that way which is the reason I decided to try the retin A there. I hope I'm not making all those wrinkles worse!
I will try the TNS and alternate with the retin A to see if they work well together. If I notice any results, I'll post back. Thanks again! |

Hi, I can't find it either. Perhaps EDS doesn't carry it anymore. It's available on eBay and at drugstore.com for about $45. HTH! ~ jj |
