I thought the same exact thing when I saw that myself. He's an educated man; he knows what drugs can do to a developing child.

You have to wonder if Howard K. Stern also dabbled in drugs.

I don't usually watch American Idol. Did Paula Abdul have plastic surgery on her face since her days of the "Straight Up", etc. songs?

That video of Anna Nichole Smith is just heartbreaking. I know she was doing it all to herself, but even so...

It is really sad. I think what makes it worse was the fact that he took so much delight in her confusion.

I believe Anna was play acting. Being drugged up doesn't cause you to start talking like a child. Anna liked the kind of drugs that made her speech slurred.

As for Anna's child voice, I cringed when the news showed clips of her meeting with her "Daddy" -- she sounded like she was 8 years old. I wonder if that was her usual casual voice.

Does this really surprise anyone? Of course he doesn’t want to be saddled with an infant to raise, he merely wants control of her (possible) inheritance!

Birkhead - Stern Settlement?
Posted Feb 26th 2007 7:50AM by TMZ Staff

TMZ has learned that lawyers for Larry Birkhead and Howard K. Stern are in settlement negotiations.

There was a buzz at the courthouse after Krista Barth, Stern's lawyer, removed a styrofoam cup of water that rested on the witness stand as Birkhead testified in the Anna Nicole burial hearing. The cup went missing and there was speculation that Stern's reps used it for a DNA test, which could have provided the evidence proving Birkhead is the father Anna Nicole's daughter Dannielynn.

We're told a day after the cup incident, the parties started negotiating. TMZ spoke with Birkhead's lawyer Debra Opri Sunday in the Bahamas, who would not confirm a settlement. She did, however, say DNA testing must be completed and paternity established before any settlement could occur.

Sources say Stern could be amenable to giving Birkhead what he needs to establish custody. We're told that in return, Stern wants ongoing control of Anna's estate and, once the estate is probated, continued involvement by becoming trustee for Dannielynn.

Are you talking about the vid-clip of her painted up as a clown, talking to a doll in a baby carriage while HKS cackled in glee at the amount of money he'd be able to sell the tape for in the background? If yes, I posted a link to it a page or two earlier.

If that's not the clip you're talking about, then you might want to checkwww.youtube.com to see if someone posted it there.

It would be hilarious if it turned out that neither was the father but, instead, some poor anonymous schmuck.

I thought this was interesting – it sort of illustrates the fact that the media is biased against “homewrecker” Angelina, no matter what she does. I mean, the woman could find the cure for cancer or Aids and broker world peace, but the media would still point out that she wrecked the marriage of the “golden couple”....

Angelina Jolie 'Blob' Comment Echoed by Gwen Stefani: Outrage?
By Jill Atkins
Jan 31, 2007

Angelina Jolie was roundly criticized when she called her baby a 'blob' and then seem to say that she cared more for her natural children than her adopted kids. Now what happens when the comment is echoed? Likely not much. Us Weekly asks Why is it when Gwen Stefani calls her baby a "blob," it seems charming, yet when pal Angelina Jolie did it, it sparked a media firestorm?

Angelina Jolie Blob Comment Echoed by Gwen Stefani: Outrage?

The weekly entertainment magazine speculates that one can chalk it up to the singer's universal likeability, which she shows off in her latest interview with British Elle. The 37-year-old wife and mother opens up to the mag about playdates with Brangelina, and how hard it is for her to stay stick-thin.

***

On whether her son, Kingston, and Brangelina's daughter, Shiloh, play together:

"Yeah! They were like two little blobs when they met. Maybe they'll get married when they grow up? That'd be cute!"

If only....if only the kinkajou had been a deadly venomous snake with no known antidote known to medical science:
-----------------------------------------------------
Paris Hilton Hates the Kinkajous
Posted Feb 27th 2007 1:02AM by TMZ Staff
Filed under: Wacky and Weird, Paris Hilton

Would you throw away a life filled with luxury and fame for a chance to bite the crap out of Paris Hilton? For one exotic pet, the choice was simple. Yes.

TMZ has obtained video of Paris' former pet kinkajou, Baby Luv, sinking her teeth into the heiress several times at the home of Howard Stern's favorite mafioso, Johnny Fratto, during an event for Beverly Hills Choppers. As Paris tried to pose for a few pictures with the raccoon-like critter on her shoulder, the frightened little beast (the kinkajou), which is known for having incredibly sharp claws and harmful saliva, repeatedly scratched and bit Hilton. A handler then grabbed the animal and put her back in her cage (the kinkajou).

Days later, Baby Luv sealed her fate when she bit Paris so badly, that she was rushed to a hospital emergency room for a tetanus shot (the kinkajou). Hilton gave Baby Luv the boot a short time after. Was it worth it?

God, I’d love to buy BabyLuv a drink or maybe give her a new home. She should be hailed as a heroine to all mankind....

I'd like to be able to say that HKS has finally come to his senses and is doing the right thing (by allowing LS to meet his daughter), but we all know that isn't the case so I wonder what his angle is? Probably doesn't want to have to pay for baby formula, diapers and a full-time nanny anymore! Afterall, his retired parents aren't made of money....(remember, in his court testimony, he said that either ANS or his folks had been footing all his bills for the last several years).

Yet another reason why NBC remains in the TV ratings-cellar:
------------------------------------------------------------
Posh in £10million deal for her own TV show
Last updated at 16:56pm on 26th February 2007

Victoria Beckham: Manager Simon Fuller has brokered a £10million deal with US network NBC to host her own tongue-in-cheek reality show

The news broke as Victoria attended Sir Elton John's Oscars party at the Pacific Design Center in Hollywood.

Former Spice Girls manager Simon Fuller - who also brokered David Beckham's $250 million (£127 million) move to LA Galaxy - was in charge of sealing the NBC deal for Posh.

More here...
• Posh: 'Spain will always have a place in our hearts'
• Liz has choice of Versace for wedding day
• Kaiser Chiefs claim chart top spot
• Odd girl out Mel C holds up Spice Girls reunion
• All the gossip, news, pictures and video from the Oscars 2007

He told Daily Mail sister paper London Lite: "The Americans were falling over themselves to sign Victoria up for a TV show but we had to choose the right deal for her. NBC won out in the end as they have really taken a shine to Vic's hilarious sense of humour and they want to capitalise on this.

"She is a funny lady and this new series will show this to the world."

Vic, 32, has signed up for one series of the fly-on-the-wall show, which will follow her move to America. Producers want to see how popular it is before agreeing to recommission it. Hubby David, 31, will feature in the show, but we're told he doesn't want a very hands-on role... it's all about Posh.

And she doesn't want her three sons Brooklyn, seven, Romeo, four and two-year-old Cruz, involved as she's always claimed she wants them to lead as normal a life as possible.

Her main priority is finding them a good school in LA, not to make them TV stars before they're even 10 years old.

Vic - who will be back on stage with the Spice Girls within 18 months, according to Fuller - is sure to enlist the help of her new A-list pals Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes and Jennifer Lopez to help her secure top ratings Stateside.

If you want a little taster of Vic's, ahem... comic talents, then you can check out her website dvbstyle.com and go on to VBTV.

Fuller, who created the Spice Girls back in 1994 before being sensationally sacked in 1997, claims: "Funny is the key word. Just remember that when the show hits our screens.

"I can't divulge any more information about it as it's very early days, and the ink is barely dry on the deal.

"It will humanise her and give her fans an insight into what she's really like for the first time."

I don't know much about him either...just that he is a photographer, and I **think** he may have met her on a photo shoot?

I think since the Beckhams are famous in England, their handlers are hoping the same will happen here. He's cute & very talented, but she seems unhappy & much too thin.

She's pretty funny in the "interviews" I've seen. She seems to have a lot more personality than her husband.
