I agree Majorb. I like the overall look the DNA formula gives; especially great around the eye area. It makes my skin feel 'cushioned' maybe a part of the plumping effect. |

You're very welcome, rileygirl.
I know that not everything works for everyone, but this is one of the best products I've tried in a long time. I think it should particularly suit those with dry, mature skin. Definitely recommended!
ETA: With any luck, you should start to see a noticeable difference in plumping and hydration within a couple of weeks or so, if it works as it did for me. |

I really like how this instantly hydrates my skin, and if I use it twice per day for about 4-5 consecutive days, I notice an improvement in my overall skin texture. BUT! It breaks me out on my forehead and my chin if I use it twice per day. And really, my skin NEVER breaks out from products!
Strange! I will continue using the bottle and maybe will repurchase, but I feel I get the same, if not better, results from SkinMedica's TNS Essential serum--plumping, dewy complexion, tighter skin.

Thanks again, majorb. This sounds good, as I do have dry, mature skin! I ordered Nanci's EGF capsules and I got to pick the DNA Serum as a sample, so I'll see how it feels on my skin. Also, just an FYI for everyone, but Nanci does not sell samples of the DNA Repair serum, and due to how busy she has become, she does not do custom requests for samples any longer. In other words, the only samples you can purchase are the ones on her samples page. However, as mentioned above, the DNA Repair Serum is offered as a bonus if you order $50 and over. |

I'm really looking forward to hearing how you get on with it, rileygirl. With any luck, you should at least be able to experience the increased hydration with the sample size. Hope you like it! |

Hi there i just wanted to chime in and say ive been using nancis products since september and i love them ,especially the Dna serum and the EFG capsules .I have had so many compliments about my skin.I also use her cp accelarator which is also great but i use the one for normal to dry skin and it really wouldnt suit a oily prone skin but nanci has just brought out one for oily skin.I feel these products work really well with the Dna serum.I do also use the karin herzog eye cream and the vita kombi on top sometimes, also i have used copper peptides from sb but taking a break from them for a while.I now feel after years of trying everything out there i have found the best products for me.Also i live in scotland and the postage is cheap and gets here in 7 days every time.KIND REGARDS XX |

I have been using EGF and DNA also as well as trans retinol at night. I just recieved the cp accelerator for Oily skin and can't wait to get going with it all. All goes on top of Ageless Secret products... three - five sprays at least twice per day.

I also added the CP Accelerator as a companion to the DNA Serum. They really go well together in my opinion. With the hydration of the DNA Serum and the velvety feeling that results from the CP Accelerator, for me, I feel this is a winning combination. I don't really have many specific skin issues to address anymore, but the healthy look that I get from these two are wonderful. It looks plump and youthful, even if I've only slept a couple hours and feel terrible otherwise. |

Damn it!!
I think I need me some of this.
This place is evil ....(on the bank account anyway)
I've been happy with my skin these days (of course there's always room for improvement), but the one thing that bothers me is moisture retention. My face looks great after my AM regime and throughout a good portion of the day, but seriously by the end of the day it's as though the moisture has been sucked out and my makeup/skin looks tired. I've been searching high and low for something that helps me retain moisture and after reading I am hoping this could be the answer. |

The DNA serum is a lovely 'base' for makeup. It provides a hydrating cushion - for me even with oily skin it's not greasy though I believe the formulation is best for normal - dry skin (Great for 'mature' skin). Makeup goes over smoothly. Even on it's own, it gives the skin a better look - a softness. I love it.
NOTE: I'm really getting into Nanci's products. She's come out with some amazing anti-agers! at fair prices.
I just started using EGF (capsule) before bed ... with trans retinol over it after 10 minute wait and then CP accelerator for oily skin. |

My skin used to be dry ALL the time and flaky back in the day. After I found EDS, I learned it was due to my skin barrier being compromised and also learned a thingy or 2 about PH levels and dry skin...who woulda thunk? Lol
So after many trials and tribulations (and my dear sweet Remergent Barrier Repair, thanks to Riley for that one!) I finally got my skin to the point where I don't flake and the only time I feel sorta dry is after washing and not applying moisturizer or by the end of the day. It's much better than days of old let me tell you. My under eye area seems to be the most affected by the late day dehydration. I have yet to find something that keeps that area well hydrated. Sometime next year, I will be getting what they call a "skin pinch" under my eyes....it's not a full out lower bleph, but what my PS does is make an incision along the lower lash line, removes excess skin, then sutures back up. For those of us with slight to moderate slackage, it's a dream! My sis had it done and it looks fabulous, she got rid of her "accordion" look and it flattened out that area like nobodies business. At the tune of $1500, what a bargain compared to a full LB.
Sorry, got side tracked there... But my point is, the dryness under my eye area is accentuated by the fact I have that slight excess loose skin, so everything bunches up on itself by the end of the day. Once I get the procedure done, it shouldn't be as noticeable. |

It's a fabulous procedure done by one of the best (if not THE best) facial plastic surgeons in SE Wisconsin, Dr Campbell. This guy is nothing less than amazing and just having a free consult with him you can see how much he LOVES what he does and that he knows what the hell he's doing. He does faces, nothing else and his passion for it is second to none. I'd have no problem giving this guy free reign on my face ...although my bank account probably would have something to say about that. |

I'm glad I'm not the only one who never seems to see immediate and dramatic results from anything, unlike others (it seems). It's so frustrating!
I just selected this DNA serum as a sample in my latest NCN order but a sample probably won't be enough to tell me if I like it or not. At least I can see if I like the consistency and how my skin reacts to it (if it soaks in, breaks me out, etc).
Does anyone use this in conjunction with LED treatment (before or after)? |

Hi All. Nanci asked me to clarify this for everyone as I think I may have confused people. The DNA Repair Serum is NOT offered as a bonus if you spend $50. It is offered as one of the SAMPLES that you can choose if you spend $50. Hope that clarifies things for everyone, and sorry for the confusion! |

I apply it prior to my LED treatment in the hope that the heat aids penetration. |

Sis - I'm bringing up this post from the EES thread:
Quote: |
I used this product a long while back and realized it wasn't something I specifically needed although I could tell it did tighten. I didn't, don't have bags BUT I have been doing facial exercises a lot - focusing on the cheeks and it seems that with this I have increased wrinkling, creasing and to an extent a bag effect at the under-eye area (I KNOW, I KNOW - can't win). Anyway I'm back to trying the EES for help with flattening the area and very excited for the results. |
I'm just wondering why the combination of ASG and DNA hasn't addressed your under-eye issues and you have felt it necessary to use a temporary fix in the form of EES. This is what you have said about the DNA Serum in the past:
Quote: |
It is outstanding in the short term in that it creates a finished, smooth look. This with Ageless Secret - I am one happy girl. I am seeing obvious "youthenizing" of the entire eye area. How can you beat that? The texture is a dream. My skin feels almost cushioned which gives it a more bouyant look - Crazy I know. |
and again:
Quote: |
I like the overall look the DNA formula gives; especially great around the eye area. It makes my skin feel 'cushioned' maybe a part of the plumping effect. |
In addition - there has been much discussion in the past on whether facial exercises cause more harm than good. Dr. Schultz was absolutely flogged for voicing his opinion on this because all of the devotees here were adamant that facial exercises did not cause wrinkles to form - and I believe you were definitely of this opinion. So I would just like your feedback on this. |

You have stated many times on this forum that Retin-A never did anything for your skin even though you used it for years. In that case, why bother adding retinol to your daily routine? |
