I have tried the samples but I cannot tell any differences. |

My skin doesn't need the extra moisture but I really like the Barrier Repair and I think it does probably help the DNA Repair. I normally use the Barrier Repair in the am and the DNA Repair in the pm but it just feels better with the Barrier Repair over the top in the pm. |

I was trying to refrain from buying the Barrier Repair (along with the DNA Repair) but now I want it even more! |

After I use it one month, my skin is so smooth. But it is a little rich to use in the day for my combination skin at summer. |

I have been using the DNA REPAIR for about 3 weeks, no visible result, nothing really stands out. SAD! This products is quite expensive. |

I just bought some after sampling it several months ago. One question for those who it...The pump seems to dispense an awful lot of product (I remember using teeny amounts from the sample tube and still getting results). Is there any way to minimize what comes out? |

In order to minimize the amount of product that comes out of the DNA repair container just tap it very briefly--you certainly CAN control the amount that comes out. I sometimes do a quick tap, then if I need more for under my chin (I don't do my neck to save it) I do just the hint of a tap. It really works just like that. I also give my face a rest about once a week not only to economize, but also to "renew" the effect, just like changing shampoos for your hair does the same thing, I find. HTH |

Thank you, Existential Lady. I will be a bit less exuberant tonight when I use the pump. Restraint can be a good thing. |

These products are designed to repair the skin layers. If you have nothing to repair then you won't notice a difference in three weeks but long term, your skin will remain in good condition. If your skin is in need of repair then it will take 6 months or more to have an effect. |

Oh, my skin is in disarray lately, one side of my chin is breaking out quite badly, there is this one bump which seems to never heal. I have been using a number of new products (on top of my existing one) for 2,3 weeks, one of them is of course the DNA Repair. I use this on top of Naturederm's Chrysalx and the other of its sister products and Vit C.
But, on a second thought, I don't think is due to those new products that I have mentioned as only one side of my chin is breaking out. May be is hormonal.
Thanks, bushy, I will continue to use the DNA Repair , shouldn't given it up yet, after all its kind of pricey. |

Skinmelon, I tend to think that you would gain the most benefit by using the DNA Repair before your other products as they will help them to absorb. The problem with using DNA Repair on top of something else is that the product may stop the DNA Repair from penetrating. The other products you mentioned you are using have caused breakouts with some other forum members. |

bushy, do you remember where did you see posts from other forum members on the products (Naturederm) that cause break out on them? Becos as far as I can remember, this product seems to receive good reviews and that's why I bought them to try out. |

Here is one link but you would need to read the whole thread:
http://www.essentialdayspa.com/forum/viewthread.php?tid=18721&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=naturderm&start=0
You can also go to the search facility and type in naturderm and it will bring up quite a lot more posts on these products. HTH |

Thanks, bushy. I have read that before but when I refreshed my memory just now, I did read that the REmergent DNA Repair should go first before Naturederm's (as what you have put in earlier on) and this is what other member who happened to have these 2 products input also. Thanks for the info.

I think you would be doing your skin a great favour by using the Remergent products. DNA Repair in the am and Barrier Repair in the pm. Add a sunscreen in the daytime and that's all your skin would need to stay in good condition. Info on these Remergent products indicate it prevents damage to the skin and helps to repair damage. In your case, it would be preventing any damage. I don't know if what they say is true but the condition of my skin has never been better since I started using Remergent. |

So I've seen a few posts asking what exactly makes Remergent DNA repair "different" from many of the other products.
So here it is in a nutshell. Everyone knows that UV radiation damages skin. But the exact mechanism that is damages skin is by changing the skin's DNA. Specifically, it creates "dimers" in the DNA-links that are not supposed to be there. Our skin has natural mechanisms to correct these dimers, but not all of them are corrected because of the amount of UV radiation our skin is bombarded with. EVERY single other product is based on correcting the consequences of this DNA damage. But what remergent has done is created an enzyme that actually goes into our cells and repairs the DNA by getting rid of the dimers.
This product could also be the end for skin cancer as we know it (for people that can afford this product). Skin cancer is caused by DNA mutations produced by UV radiation, but by correcting these mutations you eliminate the cause for most skin cancers.
If you can afford it, I would suggest also using this product on areas other than your face that have been subjected to a lot of sun exposure-such as the shoulders, forearms, chest, etc.
If you have any further questions about this product feel free to email me! Hope this answers some of your questions. I can't stress enough how much of a revolutionary product it is. |

Mauraholcomb, glad to see someone with a little more knowledge on this product. One thing that I am curious about is that the Remergent website and associated info says to use DNA Repair once per day but in recent times, I have seen a lot of other suppliers of this product recommending that it be used twice per day. Is there any advantage in using it both am and pm. |

Hi, bushy, do you think I can use the DNA Repair with my Lightstim? |

I am not sure I can answer your question as I have no idea how the Lightstim works. Perhaps other users of the Lightstim may be able to help. |

Yes, but that was a couple of years ago. How long ago did you ask them? They may be much busier now than they used to be and it may just take a little longer for them to reply.
I remember that the lady who dealt with my query was extremely helpful. So fingers crossed that they will answer you soon and you'll get your samples.
If not, then ask EDS if they'd kindly include a sample pack (provided they have them) when you make your next order. |

I emailed Remergent and did receive a sample pack, although it took some time. I liked the products so much that I have purchased full sizes of both the DNA repair and Barrier repair. |

That's what I put on before using the Lightstim. I found that my skin got a bit too dry and tight if I didn't use something first on the most dry areas. |
