Didn't some guy come out a couple of years ago saying that he was Tom's lover? Then he got sued by Tom. Laughing

Yep, that's exactly what happened! It was something outrageous like he sued the guy for $100 million dollars...as if THAT is going to ever be collected from an out-of-work actor (which I seem to recall that this guy was)! Laughing But of course, in the end, the mighty Cruise Legal Team "proved" that Tom is the manliest of men and his glorious heterosexuality will remain unquestioned for all eternity...or until the next guy pops out of the weeds to tell about his escapades with Mr. Cruise! Laughing

Well...I'm glad that reading the rags at least helps my sense of humor! Laughing My husband thinks I'm causing brain rot every time I pick one up...totally doesn't get the appeal of musing over stupid celebrity antics. Ah well...at least I don't have to share my US Magazine with him! Wink

Men are just as nosy as us. My bf gets upset when he tells me a celebrity gossip that I already knew. He'd be like "why didn't you tell me?". Laughing

It's funny to collect all those things from you ladies. Here, in good old (Continental) Europe I can't get all those news about Britney&co. resp. Tom&co.
OMG I love the expression "treshold scum" - I'm taking it into my vocabulary immedietely (do I get the copyright?).
I feel sorry for Katie, I liked her and she's still so young, easily to be confused or influenced. Actually, I was happy for Nicole, I think she's better on without that crazy creature.
So ladies, I'm waiting for another news !

Phredd4, that hellomagazine.com website is great! I'm like you, Yen...I can't stay off of ETonline (now I have to check out the other one you posted...people.aol.com!). And I agree...guys are just as nosy as we are! As much as my hubby gives me crap for my gossip rag * spam alert *, I'll catch him perusing my US or People magazines from time to time. I'm sure it's just to look at the advertisements...couldn't POSSIBLY be that he's morbidly curious as to whether or not Tori Spelling is really a homewrecker... Laughing

I thought Tori was a homewrecker. She and Dean were both legally married to other people when they got engaged (so sick).

What do you think about the whole Chad Michael Murray thing? Sophia Bush just annulled their marriage and he's already engaged to another woman. The sad thing is that he's only 24 and the new lucky gal is 18.

This is the blog from which I shamelessly glean all of my celeb gossip, although I have to confess that reading the comments is oftentimes more fun than reading the gossip itself: http://socialitelife.com/

This thread has now provided me with enough cool gossip sites that I will get absolutely no work done today, whatsoever! Laughing

Yen...about the whole Tori thing...oy vey. It's one thing that they were married to other people when they met (pretty standard issue for Hollywood hookups, I guess)...but this guy promptly went out and got her face tattooed on his arm (think Tom Arnold with Roseanne's mug on his chest...and where are they now?)! Nothing at all against tattoos, but it does seem to be some bizarre celebrity curse that as soon as the couple starts inking their names/faces all over their bodies, a breakup is almost inevitable. And I read a blurb in the gossip column of our paper out here that said Dean's wife was shopping a book: "My Husband Left Me For Tori Spelling." I thought that had to be a joke...but maybe not...??

I think Chad Michael Murray really needs to give the serial nuptial thing a rest. Like you said, he's only 24 with one divorce under his belt and now he can't just date this new chick (who is barely legal)? He has to run to the altar AGAIN? I also read that he was banned from her prom because the principal said that "no one over 21 is allowed." Laughing

Did y’all see the photos of Jessica Simpson from some recent (irrelevant) awards show where she’s got red hair, an orange dress and an orange tan that makes her look like the Queen of the Oompa Loompas? What is with these celebrities and their fake orange skin? Remember Charlize the year she won her Oscar? And the Hilton sisters and Lindsay HoHan are another good example. You know, if I had to make a choice between appearing as my normal whiter-shade-of-pale self or have my skin be the same color as the juice I drank for breakfast, I think I’d rather be white!

"Queen of the Oompa Loompas"?? LMAO! Laughing

I did see that photo and that's a perfect way to describe the way she looked! You'd think that one of their many handlers would get ahold of these celebs and educate them that tans are supposed to be golden brown, not "Oompa Orange"...

WHOA! That is TOUGH! I mean I know she wore extensions in her hair, but what a change! Her skin only looks exceptionally bad because of the hair and dress. I mean, it IS orange but the colors of everything else makes it looks worse. There's something wrong with her breast. What is that? Man.. she was so beautiful I THOUGHT.

I don't know if it's just the cut of her dress a bad photo angle, or what, but I agree...her breasts look a little odd!

I wonder if she came up with the "all-orange" theme on her own, or if some crazed (and color-blind) stylist managed to convince her that the Oompa Loompa look is huge this year?
