Yikes, I haven't re applied this yet  ! I could do it tonight and try the test out again, but I will be in the sun again next week, 4th ect! So not sure if adding real sun counts for the lasting effects of this.
I can say, the color faded just like a tan, but I had been in the sun then too. I did apply this prior to sun and it was spot on color wise for me and thats a FIRST ever!
I might wait and apply it later in the week, and let you know just how long it lasts. |

I keep meaning to do a full review as soon as I have the time. Meanwhile, I can tell you that 3 coats lasted about 10 days for me. It wasn't perfect and there were provisos, but it's the longest lasting tan I've yet come across.
I was hoping that I could apply it just prior to going on holiday for a fortnight and not have to take a bottle with me for top-ups. Alas, that is obviously not to be.  |

I'll bet swimming will wear if off sooner and I know I'll be doing daily swimming when I go, best to plan to bring the st. Tropez stuff I already have with me.. Thanks for the update. |

what is it you like about the St.Topez one? This one does great on color for me, but I'd love to find one cheaper that does the same, so far I haven't but I've never tried yours. I have to add, I am not a fan of these, they drive me batty to use but I find they are a nec evil at times. |

what is it you like about the St.Topez one? This one does great on color for me, but I'd love to find one cheaper that does the same, so far I haven't but I've never tried yours. I have to add, I am not a fan of these, they drive me batty to use but I find they are a nec evil at times. |
I tried the st. Tropez as it had good reviews. It's ok, but I'd switch for something better and longer lasting. The smell is tolerable, it lasts for about 5 days and goes on without streaks.
I use the mousse version. |

Yes, indeed, I'm sure that swimming will likely affect the duration. There are a number of recommendations in the instructions for the Phenomenal tan: including using body wash/lotion which do not contain certain ingredients (essential oils, sodium chloride, etc) and taking showers (not hot) rather than baths. So swimming in either salt water or chlorine are probably not ideal.
If only they could come up with a 2 week fake tan which allows you to enjoy your holiday without rules and restrictions! |

Well I must say, I normally do not swim much, not because I don't like it, just don't! But when I had this one, I was swimming almost daily! and it did not come off fast
eta: oops forgot to restate, I did have some real sun with it! but it really didn't wash away from the pool chemicals |
