This is incorrect. You must have missed the previous post but it can actually cause damage to the skin according to that article and it explains why.

Niha why do all your posts link to that site? Are you selling these devices?

Prevent dead skin cell buildup with honey:
Honey is an incredible ingredient that can be used for many purposes. It was recently discovered that honey can be used to scrape off the dead skin cells on your face as well, which is the reason why blackheads form in the first place. This is because it has moisturizing properties that can be extremely helpful when dealing with dry and rough skin. Using it regularly can cause no harm to your skin and can only make it softer and smoother.
Use baking soda as a face scrub for easy blackhead removal:
It was only recently figured out that baking soda can not only elevate your cake but that it can also double up as a beauty product too. Mixing a few drops of water with baking soda and then scrubbing it gently on the face is an instant blackhead extraction method that you should definitely try out at home.

Baking soda on the face may be too aggressive for folks with delicate skin. Sorry but got to flag this up here.
My son, when he was a teenager got that idea from somewhere and did a great mishap to his face following it. He was in his late teens and willing to try anything to get rid of acne and this did more harm than good.

You suggested previously about the vacum device, and I don't know if you saw that this is also a bad suggestion. I posted a link to that article explaining why - did you see that Niha?

SusanJefferson (or Niha) did either of you read the earlier article about vacuum being bad for the skin?
What do you think of that article - it is by a qualified derm and puts forward some good reasons why it is bad for skin?

I'm a little suspicious you both seem to reply to posts without reading any of the previous comments (so am concerned that you are the same person trying to sell this device which goes against the rules!).

Blackheads are a sign of clogged pores.

One of the most effective means by which you can help to unclog your pores is by using salicyclic acid.

Salicyclic acid is a chemical exfoliant that I highly recommend to those of us suffering from acne or blackheads.

SA digs deep into your pores and helps to clear them out.

With consistent regular use, the result will be clear and clean skin that you'll be proud of for years to come.

I'd try using retinol or a quality BHA.
