Although I have exactly 'zilch' experience up till now with makeup application, I'll tell you what I find with this great disc..(Thanks again Winnie, for recommending it!)
1. blendability is awesome and almost limitless
2. coverage is great, without looking made up
3. my skin runs the gamut from pale, to pink, to sallow, and the 'yellow' is working out fine
4. the application tips are very good. I played it several times, while looking at the disc. For application, you can follow along with the disc, and just pause between steps.
(Although I must say, S-girls video (gone now), put poor Laurens to shame)..IMHO

I'm a big fan of the face disc. The concealers are wonderful but I wish they sold them separately as I only use a couple of the powders, which last forever.
Edit: Just discovered you can order refills. Doh! I'm in the UK and just bought mine from laurenhutton.co.uk - I'm happy! |

Hi Lou, I definitely recommend the face disc, and will buy it again. I think this one will last me a very long time though. |

Kassy I am SO happy that you like the FaceDisc. It is rare for me to stick with a product for so long. It has been a least three years since I discovered the FD. Everyday it is not used but when it is I look much younger. |

Someone said that there are more colors for Face Disc replacement tins than are on the webpage. I guess you can request a catalog with the additional info on color selections from her customer service. People have gotten the info when they ordered replacements I think. |
Well I'll be darned. I never knew more colors were available. Thanks for letting us know. |

Ok, Ok, I give in. I've never seen a product get more consistent raves, and from folks on this board whose opinions I have found highly reliable. So, I've ordered...report to follow. |

For those who are interested in Lauren's face disc she will be on HSN tomorrow, April 1st, at 11 AM and 6 PM EST and I bet she'll be showing it at some point during the shows. I recently bought the face disc myself and have played around with it a couple times. I loved the sheer concealer around the nose and on the nasolabial lines; I was surprised and how much younger and fresher this alone made my face look. I look forward to practicing with it some more using the contouring techniques. Lauren's DVD is very helpful.
By the way, I know the disc was developed by Lauren when she started modeling again at age 46 but I also find it to be a really nice tool for myself at age 32. |

You are most welcome Kassy. I'm going to watch too; since the face disc is so nice I'm curious about her other products. Maybe there will be some new stuff as well. |

I bought the face disc close to five years ago - gosh, it's hard to believe it's been that long. I'm sure it was soon after it came out.
I've also purchased her mineral makeup in the little square boxes. And I've bought the Trio set - with blush, contour and undereye cream. I love the stuff.
I wish I had seen the video Kassy spoke of a little while back - (By S? ) I missed that entirely. |

Petu, have you checked on the shopping channel? I've seen it on there a couple of times. As a matter of fact a few weeks back I ordered Passport to Africa, although it did go back since it broke me out and even the light choice had powder so dark I couldn't wear it.

any chance the face disc will help to cover redness from retin A? |

Petu,
You can cover individual spots with the concealers. If you have all over redness I suggest that you use a light foundation before you use the contouring techniques from the face disk. I think you will love it. If you decide on a foundation to even out skin tone it is best to use liquid. The FaceDisc does not apply well over mineral makeup. Perhaps some members use a powder foundation after using the disc. Most of the time I use a tinted moisturizer and then the disc. |

The other night I got all gussied up to go to a business dinner, and the makeup result was great.
I used the concealer and shading here and there, and then used a little MMU over it all. The result even impressed me! |
