Paris Hilton may have gone to "good" schools, but wealthy people often do. An intelligent, motivated person can obtain a fine education at any moderately competent institution. An unmotivated imbecile won't be transformed into an intellectual giant no matter where they go to school. Look at Dubya...ahem.
HOWEVER, it isn't as if Americans have a monopoly on stupidity. I seem to recall that Queen Elizabeth thought Dante was a horse |

So last night I heard on Entertainment Tonight that Star Jones has a new job lined up: as a “love coach” on AOL, giving relationship advice to women. I haven’t googled it yet to watch her little video snippets (I don’t want to waste any of my precious 30 minutes), but I’m guessing that she’s telling women how to become a “beard” and live in denial so we, too, can snag our very own Big Gay Al.... |

Socialite PARIS HILTON insists on dancing on nightclub banquettes and stages, because she has a uncontrollable fear of sweat. The aspiring singer, 25, is regularly photographed dancing from a height at nightclubs across the world, looking down at her fellow partygoers. Hilton explains, "I dance on the banquettes, just below the tables because I don't want to be on the dancefloor with everyone sweating on me. It's gross. "I hate sweat. It grosses me out. Sweaty guys gross me out. I just don't want to be near sweat in a club."
Oh, so that’s why she’s always dancing on the tabletops and/or doing pole dances – duh!! Makes perfect sense now! |

LOL!! "Big Gay Al"...so I'm guessing you watch South Park, too? Actually, I do love that show...
Anyway, I looked at one of her video clips (http://coaches.aol.com/love-and-sex/star-jones-reynolds/main) and it's definitely nothing groundbreaking...not that I thought it would be! Actually it would be a LOT more entertaining if Star actually did tell women how to be a beard for a gay man! |

[quote="Yen"]Kristy Swanson and Lloyd Eisler are having a baby.

I used to be a huge fan of the Eisler-Brasseur pair skating team back when they were competing at the Olympics and such and I also had a little bit of a crush on him, but after the way he pulled a Federline and walked out on his pregnant wife for Buffy the Vampire Slayer, I have zero respect for him anymore -- as I've previously indicated in this thread, I have ZERO tolerance for spouses that cheat. |

I, too, am a figure skating fan, and I am totally disappointed in Lloyd Eisler. Totally! |

Apparently Vanity Fair will score the first pix of Baby Suri. Supposedly they were taken by famed celeb-photog Annie Lebowitz and will appear in an issue later this fall.
For myself, I ain’t believe it’s really his kid unless they also publish paternity test result next to her pic, because I still don’t believe it’s A) actually his spawn and B) that Kate actually was pregnant. If there truly is a baby, I think it was adopted or kidnapped!! |

P.S. Apparently TomKat have invited Posh and Becks to come and meet Suri – does this mean the Beckham clan are going to convert from worshipping the god of money, fame and superficiality to become Scientologists???
However, apparently Tom sent a list of rules conditions along with the invitation, including the fact that the cannot bring any photographic equipment and/or take a photo of the alien, oops, I mean baby; they cannot touch or hold the baby and they cannot speak/coo or make baby-talk in the baby’s presence.
Could this man BE any more of a freak? I tell you, it did my heart good to read in the UK’s Daily Mail a story that the little runt will be taking about a $20M pay-cut for his next film because the studios are getting to the point where they are afraid to be affiliated with this nutcase in any way!!! |

No sane person would go to see them when getting "visitation rules" like those...
I have a subscription for the Vanity Fair - so let's see this poor little "alien" (whether own or adopted i feel really sorry for that child) |

Regarding Kristy Swanson: Is she Buffy the Vampire Slayer? I thought that Sara Michelle Geller was.
Why would the Beckhams be interested in meeting this baby? Are they friends with Tom?
Without starting a controversy here I actually agree with not using baby talk to babies and small children. Tom Cruise (thankfully) did not invent this, there are many experts who believe that babies that are spoken to with full words, proper adult terms and in regular tones of voices learn to speak quicker and their overall development advances faster. |

I have also heard this and agree with Anna on the baby talk thing. Pronouncing words properly in a high voice is okay, (I learned in development classes that babies respond best to "baby talk" voice pitch). My mom had that rule with me and I really think it helped. |

I'm in-touch with Mario ("Perez"), and read his blog daily: www.perezhilton.com. I also read www.d-listed.com.

Well! It didn't surprise me! Call me cynical if you want, but I'm never very hopeful when I see some nubile young woman marry an older man, esp. a sleazy looking guy like the lead singer of the Black Crowes!!! |

Here's another Katie Holmes story (perezhilton.com).
Kate Holmes made a rare public appearance on Sunday at an In Style magazine girls-only party held at the home of a Hollywood producer.
"Katie looked dead in the eyes," one partygoer tells PerezHilton.com exclusively. "She was not the same person she was before she met Tom."
The soiree was a gathering of some of the industry's most influential women, and there was a strict rule along with the invite. "You weren't allowed to bring a guest with you," another partygoer tells us. "However, Katie brought a guest. One of her Scientology 'handlers.' She was the only one that didn't come alone. Katie's minder kept a watchful eye and a close distance at all times. It was so creepy! You couldn't really talk to her honestly and openly. Whenever Katie would leave the room, all the girls would talk amongst themselves about how strange she seemed and how bizarre the whole situation was."
Scary comment ... "Katie looked dead in the eyes" and that she had a "handler" with her. Someone needs to rescue that girl! |
