Please check the ingredients in the Josie Maran tinted moisturizer! Many irritants and a few ingredients that are bad for overall health as well!! |

Hi guys~
This is my first post here but I've been lurking around the forum for a while. Following some recommendation from Jennifer I've started the 302 line couple weeks ago with the sensitive cleanser and calming mist. Can you guys recommend a sunscreen that will be compatible with the 302 active (I need something very light as I have sensitive skin)? I'm going to be starting my first active this Friday when I get the product. It looks like Invisible Zinc and Dermaquest Zinclear is getting tons of rave reviews around here but is it compatible with the 302 line? Thanks! |

Xusia, I'm not sure about the sunscreens you mentioned but the 302 Ointment has sunscreen in it and they also make a regular sunscreen. I think the ointment wasn't recommended for daily use on some skin types but for others it was fine. I'm surprised Jennifer didn't mention a sunscreen to you.
Good luck! And remember, it's a journey that takes some commitment. I'm happy as can be with the line!

Lexy,
Thanks so much for the reply! The reason that I'm not looking at the 302 sunscreen is because it's tinted. I think that will look pretty funny on me since that I'm a guy? It's funny that after I stopped using all the products that I'm using for 2 weeks and washed my face with only water along with argan oil as moisturizer, my face actually looked much better(I tried HYALURONIC EMULSION WITH VITAMIN C from Mario Badescu and it caused a red/drying allergic reaction on my face). No more oily t-zone and dry cheeks and it actually looks brighter. That's the reason why I'm convinced that "less is more". Again, thanks for the prompt reply! |

Hi Xusia,
I had the same reservations with the 302 sunscreen. I was initially afraid the tint would be noticeable. But I called 302 and shared my concerns with them and they said the tint would not show. So I purchased the product and what do you know?! They were right! I use the sunscreen on my face and you cannot see anything. No tint, no color. And it absorbs quickly. I have been quite pleased with this product! |

I have a version of the sunscreen (SPF 15) that isn't tinted--could be that it's an older iteration. It made me break out, but I have had success using the Ointment as my sunscreen.
Just sayin'. |

Well, I haven't posted in quite some time, but thought I would give you all an update.
I've been on 302 for 11 months now. I am pretty happy with the results. I used to break out often on my temples and chin, which I am happy to report has not happened much at all of late. When it does happen (I take the blame for provoking it here -- go to sleep in makeup sometimes), the blemish goes away in a day or so. Heals lightning fast.
Right before I started 302, I had been using IS Clinical Active Serum. Though I had a good run with it, my skin began looking so dull and aging after a year of use that it rather frightened me at the time (I was just about to turn 30, too)! 302's results are very gradual, but what I can say is that I haven't had a morning like that, where I look at my face in horror, in 9 months. In fact, my skin is looking rather well and healthy these days. And judging how quickly my very occasional blemish goes away, I can tell that my skin is just functioning very well overall.
It's definitely wonderful what little hassle there is to use this system, as many others have mentioned.
For those in the know, are there any new exciting products being developed from 302 lately? |

I want to post a quick update after I've been on the 302 line for about 2 weeks. It seems as though my old acne are coming up to the surface forming whiteheads (i don't get a lot of acne anymore, just one or 2 here and there a week). I no longer have an oily t-zone and it seems as though my skin is less sensitive now. I do have to mention that I do not use the cleanser everyday. It seems as though washing my face twice a day with the cleanser or even once a day is too much. I only use the sensitive cleanser once every other day. I do however have a question for the 302 regulars, what do you guys use for spot treatment on whiteheads and cystic acne? Thanks! |

The 302 Acne cleaner is great! I can't say enough good things about it. This is the product that really helped to clear my skin! I also use this product as a spot treatment. I dot a small amount with a Q-Tip on the spot and it helps dry it up. I don't get many pimples anymore, only if I start picking at my face... Which we all know that can cause ugliness!
I noticed you asked about the 302 sunscreen before. I just used it for the first time yesterday. It did leave my skin with some tint. However I put 1/4 teaspoon on my face. I think if you used less it wouldn't leave any tint. I fell asleep with it on last night, and my face didn't breakout so that is a good sign.
I hope this was some help! Take care |

Thanks for the reply! I tried the sunscreen for a day and it caused lots of breakouts for me. Do you guys have any other recommendation for sunscreen? I've heard a lot of rave reviews on Dermaquest and Invisible Zinc, are those 2 compatible with 302? Thanks again! |

I can't use the sunscreen either. I use the RX Ointment. Sparingly. Works great. |

I've also heard mixed reviews on the ointment. Am I correct to assume that DermaQuest Skin Therapy
ZinClear SPF 30 will not work because it contains Citric Acid? Here's the full ingredient list:
Active Ingredient: Zinc Oxide 18.60%
Water, Cyclomethicone, Glycerine, Glyceryl Stearate and PEG 100 Stearate, Sorbitol, Imperata Cylindrica Root Extract, Caprylyl Glycol, Sorbitan Stearate, Lecithin, Arabidopsis Extract, Plankton Extract, Xanthan Gum, Carbomer, Ascorbyl Palmitate (Vitamin C), Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Citric Acid, Disodium EDTA
TIA~ |

I've been reading a lot of posts and other website info about this line. I can't help but think...
Can't we just eat lots of avocados and do avocado masks? I mean, it's based off of ppl that had great skin because they ate lots of avocados. They weren't using all these products and other ingredients, yet their skin was inspiring. Guacamole is one of my top 5 favorite things to eat!! I WILL INDULGE MORE! Maybe slather mashed avocado on my face a few times a week! |

SandraD, if you go back and check out the original 302 thread, there is an explanation in there why avocado oil is different from 302. |

I know, I read about the avocado oil. I didn't mention oil at all in my post above, I think you misunderstood. I was just talking about plain avocados, as a food. The ppl with the good skin that this whole 302 line is based off of -- ate a lot of avocados. This was supposedly why they had such bitchin' skin. They weren't using the 302 skincare line....
So can't we just eat more like them to have their awesome skin? |

I did misread your post, sorry!
Don't know the answer to your question, but you could certainly give it a try and report back if it works! |

My memory isn't serving me here, but isn't 302 derived from a "special" avocado?
Anyway, avocados are both delicious and extremely healthful. Pretty caloric, though... |

Speaking of sunscreens, can anyone remember the name of the power sunscreen that some people were trying? (it was not 302)
I thought I would ask before I start digging through every page, but I am prepared to do so if need be! |

I'm sure if this sunscreen would work. I have been trying to think of sunscreens for you but I couldn't think of any. There is the powder sunscreen which I posted the link above.
I once used a sunscreen called
Devita Solar Body Block. It contains Shea Butter which I think broke my face out. I'm unsure though because everything at the time would break my face out. The only thing I could do was wash my face.
I'm sorry I couldn't be more help! |

I love the 302 recovery minerals, they are SPF 30 I think. Like mineral make up but even lighter & more protective. I use it instead of the mineral make up ...
Still totally loving 302.
I wonder if anyone has heard from Boski, I hope she's well? |
