Thank you, Lisa! (Now I have to figure out what caused the little itchy bumps....maybe it's the color.) |

Just to let all know, this is a treatment product, meaning its not over night blow your lips up, but after a good week to ten days, this stuffs great, my lips stay hydrated all day long, and are def getting a bit plumper, it will really take a good month on that, but I can see and feel the difference! |
Unless you're "toopid" like me and want to see what happens if you use it like 5 times in one day. Love to experiment, dontcha know? Just imagine an old broad with bee-stung lips.
If you have a special evening and want a major pout going on, use it about 3-4 times that day. Do NOT do this on a regular basis because it's just a complete waste of a lovely product, though.
Ari
I forgot to mention that, if you're starting to suffer from pale lip syndrome (it comes with age, I hear), you'll get rosy lips the very first time you use the treatment. I still have a LOT of color in my lips but I noticed I look like I'm wearing a rose lip gloss about 5 minutes after using the treatment. |
oh my God I totally forgot but your right, my lips are very rosy!!! And being umm Old, they weren't before I started this! And now I just must try the 3-4 times a day thang!!! |

I adore Carrie's products and recipes. However, this thread is about Candessence Lip Service Treatment. Can we stay on topic, please.
TIA

Okay, Ari...now you've got me wanting to be "toopid" and see what happens when I apply this stuff 5x a day... I, too, believe experimentation is a good thing!
And I agree...this product definitely gives the lips a lovely, rosy tint. I generally like to have on a little color (stain, lipstick, etc.)...but my lips are in such great condition after using this treatment religiously that I don't **have** to wear lip color if I don't want to!

I've been stuck on the phone for so long my arm/ear hurts soooooooooooo I am going to get every stinkin' piece of paper off my desk today and play all day tomorrow. Doesn't that sound like a good plan? If my order is at the PO it's something that I can open up and put on my lips ASAP in the car. Some shopping and lunch with my GF should make for an excellent afternoon. |

I got it!! I have nice pinky lips and they are sooooo soft. They haven't had time to do any peeling, but I must say, it's still after 2 hours and the flakey scaley lips are still soft. Trying very hard not to do what Ari did. |

I just received notice today that mine was shipped. I forgot that Candy sends notification when she ships so even if I had gotten out of my jammies yesterday and gone to the PO it wouldn't have been there.
I might get it by Saturday. |

Oooh I just got my package from Candessence and I just put on my lip service lip gloss. On first impression, it's a soft gel and it absorbs nicely into your lips (even though I kinda glopped it on). I felt a warm/heat sensation after a seconds. I'm not sure if it's because my lips are dry or because of the plumping action. But it's been a minute and it's faded, although I do feel a little something... not sure what that is. Maybe I'm just self conscious about it right now.
I'm going to use this as my only lip balm/treatment for a while and see how it goes. Hope it gives me those beautiful lips I'm hoping for!!
(Oh and I also received my strawberry smoothie lip balm, which came in a tube rather than a little pot as shown on the website. This is much better, because I don't like to get my fingers dirty in the little pots, and contaminate the lip stuff. So the tube is great.) |

Hi, nubajelly
What you're feeling is probably that slight numb feeling I got. I does fade in a matter of moments.
After you've used it awhile, would you let us all know what you think of the the lip service treatment? It's time for more opinions.

Ok my lips are staring to exfoliate, and its not what I expected, its a deep exfoliation ( I can feel it, hard to put into words) yet minor peeling, hope that makes sense, I can feel the peeling yet I don't have sheets of skin on my lips coming off! Its kinda neat. I think I've been using this for about a week and half or so! So I think my peelings taking longer than others, so hang in their if yours haven't done the peeling, mine are in full force now! |

It came today!!!!! I immediately put it on my poor, pathetic chapped lips. It had a numb tingly feeling, and plumping. The middle of my lip is smoother - no idea if that will last. I only put it on about an hour ago, I can still feel a thin layer of product on my lips. I will update..... |

Ok, so yesterday, after 1 day, I had a little peeling. I'm not sure if it's "the" peeling I'm supposed to have, because it wasn't a lot. I didn't even realize it at first till I felt myself chewing on my lip in the car biting at the peeling skin.
But today, when I woke up, my lips were still moist! Not just soft or smooth, but had moisture! This is a first for me because I'm always dried out. So I think the treatment must be doing something wonderful I'm going to keep applying it 3-4 times a day. (I know it isn't the necessary routine, but I just like putting it on ) |

I can't wait to order this now, sounds like another great product from Candy. Though I still have more than enough of her products to use up in the coming months! |
