I've been using Dr. Mist for almost a year, and as long as I am faithful to it and spray 2x daily after I wash my face, I don't have any breakouts ... just clear, beautiful skin and nothing to pick, even if I wanted to.
Prior to discovering Dr. Mist, my skin was mostly clear but I was plagued with horrible, cystic acne on my chin. No sooner would I get one cleared up then another would be emerging -- so very glad those days are in the past!
This is also a very easy product to use -- just "spritz spritz" and then I kind of wipe it around my face quickly with my fingertips (I don't use the cotton ball as Dr. Mist recommends).

This sounds wonderful! Thank you thank you! I will pick up a few bottles of this. Extra nice to know I can actually get this one in Canada. Ah, if only we have as much selection in the U.S. and Asia. Hmm.. then again I would probably need an extra job to pay for all the goodies. |

I'm just wondering if Dr. Mist works to stop acne before it starts or it works to clear up existing acne (the big fat one that doesn't seem to ever ripen and is achy underneath - is it called cystic acne?). Or is it for both? |

Hi bkkgirl
I think it works for both ... and yes, those horrible "big fat under the skin things" is how I would describe cystic acne. I am no longer getting these monsters, and I can't believe that the solution has been so easy. I've also found Dr. Mist helps heal the mosquito bites I end up with on the bottom of my legs in the summer here!

I have found the Dr. Mist to be beneficial for the blemishes that break the skin, not the under the skin lumps. I saw no difference whatsover in those ones.
I also had good luck with it on bug bites as well this summer. |

Thanks, Cathy. I'm getting these cystic acne about once a month now. Very annoying. I tried rubbing it with neosporin, and it seems to calm it down.
Must give Dr.Mist a try. Do you spritz morning and evening before putting on moisturizer? |

I get bug bites sometimes, so if I bought it and it doesn't work on cystic acne, then I can still use it for bug bites, and for my kids, too. When they were eaten up by fleas, this would have come in handy. |

I'm so grateful to the lovely Havana8 for introducing me to Dr. Mist. It's a lovely multi-purpose spray that is basically a suspension of salt and minerals in water. It seems it was mainly created to be used as a natural deodorant, but it's supposed to be good for acne, cuts, etc as well. Anyways, last night I was a bad girl and I picked at a blemish on my face so much that I was actually bleeding! I didn't want to go to bed since I didn't want to bleed all over my pillow, so I didn't know what to do. Since this spray is supposed to be good for acne I went ahead and spritzed it on, and believe it or not, the bleeding stopped INSTANTLY! Not within a few minutes or even a few seconds, it stopped instantly. I went to bed and didn't get any blood on my pillow, and this morning, while I still have a slight red mark, I don't have a nasty scab which is really nice. Needless to say, I will be re-purchasing!
You can find Dr. Mist here:
www.drmist.ca
As far as I know they ship internationally (I had no problem getting it shipped to the US), and it's only $9.99 a bottle. |
I just tried adding it to cart, and while the web site says only $7.99 per bottle, it shows up as $13.99 on the shopping cart page, and $1.50 for shipping and handling.
Does anyone else have this problem?
I have not even entered my US address yet. |

I received my bottle of Dr. Mist. I started to spray it on my face after I washed it. I'm not seeing any dramatic change on the cystic acnes. I'm also using neosporin on them, and it has helped. |

Yes, I spritz my bare skin after cleansing. I use MMU, and sometimes I spritz afterwards to set it. |

Ok,
I bought a bottle of this stuff 2 days ago and i love it! They only had the non-fragranced kind at London drugs.
I am using it as a deodorant- keeps odor away!
I am spritzing it on my face after cleansing- and it has cleared up 3 pimples on my face already!
I love this stuff!!

Well this is it!!! I'm going to try the Dr. on my body!!! I'm 42yrs young and have been fighting acne on my face since I was 12yrs old. Worse of all it's on my back, chest and arms. I have missed family events due to breakouts on my body...weddings, family BBQ's, etc. I have tried EVERYTHING!! There is not one thing out there that someone would mention that I have not tried!!! I'm SOOOOOO tired of this. It's consumed my life!!! Wish me luck. OH, if there is skin transplant out there, please let me know, that is one thing I haven't tried. Peace. |

I get both, either form white heads, or the hard under the skin kind. The Dr. cleared up the ones that were a bit infected looking. |

I'm going to try it on my back next too! Hopefully it works for both of us! |
