I have been using the .05% J&J cream from ADC and i got quite red and lots of peeling so im sure it works just fine.I had to cut back to twice a week and now im slowly going to build up.Ive never tried the gel though but im sure the cream works fine. |
I'm glad it is working for you but I sure didn't get anything like that happening until i switched to the gel. Hopefully other people who have used the cream can weigh in. |

I've had the peeling and flaking from the J & J 0.05% retin a, I also find that it heals any breakouts/broken skin really fast too.
I guess it's definitely doing something, but we are never satisfied, hence my urge to try the shalak.
I think I'm gonna stick to the J & J, if it's not broke... |

The gel will be more drying so for people like me with dry to normal skin it is not the best. My first preference would be the Renova i used to use from Medsmex but i wouldnt buy from them again plus ADC is much less expensive. |

I have oily skin apparently the gel is better suited for that skin type, I have some gel (janssen-cilag 0.025%), but I'm putting off using it on my face as I'm using the obagi system. |

The gel is also better for people who are blemish-prone because it's a bit more gentle |

I always thought the gel was more harsh as it was drying and could be alcohol based, does that only apply to those who do not have oily/acne prone skin type? |

Well it's more gentle in the tretinoic acid aspect of it. The gel contains a special microsphere technology that allows the tretinoic acid to be released more slowly so that it is more gentle on the skin. As for the other ingredients, I can't say for sure because I don't know what they use for the gel base. |

Did you mean Retin A Micro?
I'm quite sure the discussion was on regular Retin A gel. |

Oh I see, you were referring only to the gel form. I was confused because the Micro version is also a gel. Sorry about that, disregard what I said about it then |

The gel made by shalaks that we were talking about from ADC is not the same as the retin a micro. It is .025 and .05 gel that is not alcohol based but it will be more drying than a cream version. It is a very nice product, dries quickly and won't wipe off on your pillow. |

Just wanted to chime in. I ordered 2x Retin A .05 gel and .1 gel (shalaks) from ADC and it arrived yesterday without a problem. I live in the USA. Expiration dates are all a year from now. I used a green dot prepaid credit card. I haven't got an increase in spam.
After using the .05 gel for one night I noticed no drying, irritation, flaking or redness. I know one day it too early to tell but my skin tends to tolerate stuff pretty well. The gel absorbs very fast and for me left the skin without any residue. |

Yes it is really nice to not have to wash anything off in the morning. It is a really good formulation of retin a. Where do you get prepaid credit cards anyway? |

I bought my greendot card from 7-11. The card cost like 4-5 dollars (don't remember precisely) and you tell the cashier however much you want to put on. The one you buy from 7-11 is just a temporary card and doesn't let you purchase overseas (you can still use it in the USA). You register the card on the site and within 7-10 days you will receive a permanent card. You can use this card to purchase overseas. There's a monthly charge of around $4 but that can be avoided by canceling the card if you no longer are going to use it. |

Forgot to mention you can reload the card by buying reload cards and telling how much you want on the card. Also can link bank account to it for direct deposit if you want that sort of thing. There are ways to waive the monthly charge. If you look at the information provided with the card you'll find all that out. |

I've reduced the amount of the J & J retin a cream to a little over a pea size and no longer seem to be getting clogged pores. |

The cream .025 that you are advertising as made by Shalaks is actually made by Johson and Johnson. I ordered a tube to confirm that fact and received it yesterday. |

I know there are alot of threads about 'All Day Chemist on here and I think I have read them all!!
My main question is, has anyone used ADC for prescription drugs? like blood pressure medication etc..
I have been checking their site and the prices are amazing. I am in Australia. I want to order quite a few things from them but am worried about fraud and authenticity??
I want to order Retin A cream, but I was going to order my BP tablets too, the price difference is $ 32.oo to $ 3.00?? Big difference, but if there not the real thing could be dangerous. It's one thing if the cream is not real, but with acutual tablets!!
I think I need to get a card just for 'online buying'..it seems the safest bet.
any advice? |
