Im sorry in advance, because I dont mean to be cruel and Carolyn really IS a lovely person, but ... this exercise just looks like a gerbil and I would die a million deaths if DH saw me doing it:

Laughing

I do like that she advises to contract the muscles while doing this deep massage, something that also should be done with FacialDetox I would think.<<< which I do and makes a big diff in the glow of my skin.

Laughing Welcome to the world of face exercises. No one looks cute doing most of them; so if you would die a million deaths if hubby saw you like that and you can't get privacy, maybe Facial Detox is a safer choice. Very Happy

I don't think anything I do surprises my hubby. He has seen it all. Laughing

Very Happy Very Happy I hear you. I love the gerbil reference because it would not come to mind if Carolyn's cheeks did not have some meat on them. I find that encouraging since I hope to have the same when I am her age.

While these photos are not recent, I thought they help show how effective face exercises can be. This is Elaine Bartlett, founder of Faceworks (www.faceworks.co.uk)

This is her before photo @ age 45:

This was 4 weeks later:

And this was even later (not sure how much later):

But I think what really shows how well this program has worked for her are the video samples in which you see a close-up of how toned/lifted and smoothed-out her face is:

I wrote to Steve to let him know the photos of Loulou he had provided previously are no longer showing and offered to help him post if he'd send them to me--but haven't heard back. Not sure what happened to them in the first place.

Deb Crowley said earlier in this thread that she was way ahead of Theresamary on this idea of posting recent photos but her photos are glaringly absent.

That two of the popular face exercise programs on EDS are not represented in this thread when both founders are members of this forum is a bit of a disappointment, don't you think?

Here's hoping they will proudly represent their prospective programs and show what they have been able to achieve with them soon.

Loulou posted this yesterday in the Ageless thread. For what its worth, I thought Deb looked pretty darn good in the photos she posted a few months back on the FlexEffect forum. Just went there now to see if I could repost but they have gone. But for what its worth, I think she looks fab and would much rather look like her than Maggio or any of the others:

I will try to post them again/put some more up in short order. As always, I do appreciate your attention to all things Ageless, because I would have had no idea about the photos if you hadn't told me. Cool

Cool! Look forward to seeing Loulou's photos. Thanks for letting her know her pics went poof.

TheresaMary did you ever follow up with Deb w/r/t posting recent photos or even the video she said she was going to make without makeup over a year ago? Latest photos on her before/after page are from 2010 and I believe that is also when she last made a Youtube video! It would be nice to see the recent photos you said were on her website. Since they already exist so it's just a matter of posting, maybe you can ask her to send them to you or to tell you where they are located the way everyone else you contacted did?

Maybe I should jump in on this… ya think.

Nonie, any photos I post on my forums will never come with permission to anyone to re-post on other forums… for the same reason I will not post anyone’s photos that they placed on our forums for training purpose etc.

I’ve been so caught up in several different projects I have not taken the time to even take pics for my photo page… http://www.flexeffect.com/debpic.htm My goal has always been to post photos no later than every 3 years. Last photos were taken at age 62 (with video) I turned 65 (5 months ago). I have at least 7 more months to go before my 3 years are up. And besides.. my photos will be a full year of being 65, not just turning 65. This is even better for those wanting the most out of the time frame. So please be patient

BTW Nonie, I never said I was going to do a VIDEO of me without make-up, that would be way more work than necessary. I said I would do “No Make-up Close-ups” So... hang in there everyone...they're coming I promise Very Happy

I stand corrected w/r/t the close-up without makeup being a photo not video.

Deb Crowley, point taken about not wanting someone else to post your forum photos here without your permission--although it wouldn't have to be without your permission since asking your permission is not that difficult to do.

Anyway, since you are now here and you do have photos that TheresaMary says you recently posted on your forum, is there any reason you yourself couldn't post those here now? I understand the photos for your website need planning so may take a while to be added, but surely even a phone photo would suffice for this purpose--heck, I myself have posted impromptu photos directly from my phone that I took in the middle of posting in order to show something I was talking about--after all, I have nothing to hide. (BTW, in 7 months you will be 66, which means now you will have missed the "no later than 3 years" boat; now is when your website's updated pics are due--if you are to keep to your schedule, that is.)

So considering you already have photos available that you recently posted on your forum, can't you repost them here and now? It seems you do find time to read and post messages on this forum so surely you can spare a moment from your busy schedule to paste a photo URL, can't you?

You kinda lost me there. I don't see how my request for photos now has anything to do with your grandkids wanting to open their Christmas gifts BEFORE their due time. A better analogy (keeping the roles the same as before) would be your grandkids wondering why it is that you are still holding onto their presents and not letting them have or open them when Christmas morning has come and gone and we're now in the New Year. Laughing

This thread's request for photos was sent to you over a year ago, and just about everyone else who got that letter delivered within a day or so. You, on the other hand, said you were "way ahead [of the OP] and were planning on doing just that" leading us to believe you had pics already in the works, but still not even a pixel from you.

Then you stated, w/r/t your website, that your "goal has always been to post photos no later than every 3 years". Well, the last time you posted photos and a video was the beginning of 2010 a few months before you turned 62. Therefore, the three year deadline you set for yourself was at the beginning of this year 2013, about half a year ago.

So as you can see, your grandkids don't need creative stories to explain any impatience they might display about opening their gifts. Smile In fact, it sounds to me like you're the one being creative and telling tales. Laughing And really no one would fault your grandkids if they jumped to all sorts of conclusions. I can see the younger ones thinking you were withholding the gifts to punish them, and the more discerning ones concluding that there was something about the gifts that wasn't OK or that you didn't want them to see, hence your reluctance to hand 'em over.

Anyway, I am sure you have a very good reason for hiding your face Wink. We know lack of time to take photos isn't why we haven't seen any, since we are aware that new photos that you posted on your forum exist, so inserting those very photos into your posts above would've been a breeze. Yet, "Not right now OK?" is all you have to say w/r/t that suggestion. As Alice in Wonderland would say, "Curiouser and curiouser!"

LOL..sorry I dont meant to offend anyone but this was way too funny...

Also, I personally dont care about before n after photos but I understand why others do.

Facial exercises have been doing wonders for me lately and I am so glad that I started n kept doing em... I am seeing definition and cuts in my face which was lacking before, even in my 20s...just in case someone is wondering, I am not following any particular program.

RE: Photo TeresaM wanted to post of me

I couldn’t for the life of me put together what photo TM was talking about. Well I found it! I can see why I took it down Embarassed

Now stay with me on this... My nostrils were flared to the max...you can practically see my brain. Both hands are in my mouth pulling my top lip down as far as possible. My cheeks are pulling up as hard as possible. Oh yeah I was stunning.Laughing

But hey my eyes looked great. TeresaM... you have a BIG hart Wink

So... am I gonna post that pic. Oh yeah any minute now. Rolling Eyes

Laughing

Got to admit... That was a good come-back Laughing
Glad to hear you're getting great results.. That's all that matters Wink

Thank you, and good to know that you have a good sense of humor Laughing

I m sure Nonie has some gold medals in debates!

You can take that to the bank!

Deb You are a class act and a good sport. I look forward to your pictures.

I don't know why Deb wouldn't love to post her picture on this thread. It seems like it would be free advertisement for FE.

No offense, but for the reason Sis stated above: because she *IS* a class act and not about the free ads.

C'mon nah, fawnie you're reaching there. The link she herself posted to her before/after page could be considered free advertising and is no different from her posting a current photo in this thread or a link to a current photo. So I'm not buying your explanation.

The name of this thread is up to date photos of facial exercise program founders. I believe most of the face exercise company founders were ask to submit up to date pictures. I'm sorry but I don't see how this is about being a class act or not. It's about showing a picture of your face because these founders represent their product and whether it works or not. Deb is not under any obligation to do it just thought she would want to, thats it.
