personally using BBW's Eucalyptus body lotion (hooked to their aromatherapy line). Also like Aveda's lotions.

The Alpha Hydroxy products are very effective AHA. I pick them up cheap at Winners.

While it is intended for face; I do use it on my arms and body. It is affordable to use all over.

Does anyone know any body lotions that are good for hyperpigmentation/skin that is prone to discoloration?

Are you using a good sunscreen daily?

AHA and vitamin c help with hyperpigmentation.

Paula's Choice has some products.

I would suggest trying sample sizes.

Topical hydroquinone is one ingredient that can work on brown spots.

Paula's Choice 10% AHA. A guy I dated said, "Wow, your skin is so soft."

I've fallen in love with Lush Dream Cream. The smell is divine and it leaves my skin baby soft.

I just noticed lotion at Walgreens that said "phlatate-free" on the label, so that's probably one of the big trends of the next few years. Body and skincare products contain so many endocrine-disrupting chemicals; it's great that companies are finally addressing this since what you put on your skin is absorbed much more.

I don't think Alpha Hydroxy is readily available here in Canada. It used to be and I don't know what has happened.

I love the body line from Clarins.

Cactus Juice Miracle Gel
This is the finest, most natural moisturizer I have ever used. Great for face and hands, but you can also use it all over. It is clear with no smell at all.
Will soften the worst hardened feet too!
I think this costs about $8 a bottle, goes a long way. ( I was lucky to get it at an Outlet and bought cases of it. I have never seen it in a store here in PA, but it is available online. )

The Daily Mail has an article about Stemutone. Has anyone any comments to make about the ingredients listed upthread? Any of them the possible reason this lotion is better than others?

I'd really like to see a test done on one arm, leaving the other the control arm, then compare after 30, 60 and 90 days.

Not Toby - but I've been using Stemutone for several months. It is expensive so I use it primarily on my upper arm, knee area and tummy. My experience is it gives a younger and more toned appearance. It seems to sink in very deep into the skin layers which I'm sure is why it works so well... it is very hydrating. It would be excellent especially for dry skin.

I'm still using it for now. I bought 8 tubes and am down to my last two. It is very hydrating and really helps the crepiness(sp?)but I haven't seen any improvement in my spots and freckles. My complaint is the smell. It is floral but light however I think it has a funky smell several hours later. I may go back to Skin Biology lotions for awhile to get away from that.

With all those oils I was worried that it would be too gaggingly floral.

I think I will buy one tube and use it on one arm until the tube is used up or until I see dramatic results.

My dermatologist recommended CeraVe cream. It contains hyaluronic acid and ceramides which is supposed to help "rebuild" the skin barrier. It's inexpensive and I love it-- I use it after every shower and could definitely feel a change in my skin after two days.

I'd like to try that stemutone. If it is that beneficial for the body, I wonder what it would do for the face.

Just to add: I also use CeraVe in areas that I don't use Stemutone. It is a great moisturizing product for the price.

I ran out of Stemutone while on a vacation in a tropical place and within less than a week it became obvious why I love it. I do not have dry skin but there was a marked difference in appearance after I hadn't used it for a few days - most noticeable to me in the thigh/knee area. Stemutone works in a very deep way. The moisturizing effect/combo of ingredients somehow giving skin a younger, smoother look. This may sound crazy but I've noticed continued moisture and supersoft skin after I shower in the areas I use Stemutone before even putting on the next after shower layer. (IE: It appears to go very deep and have lingering effects). Yes, it is worth the money. I'm still wishing I was in Toby's anti-aging group to get in on the group buy Laughing

The results sound like AHA and BHA lotions which I use. My skin stays soft for quite a while afterward. Does this Stemutone exfoliate like they do? Are any of the ingredients the same?

The comments here make me think I need to try this Stemutone line! I make my own body moisturizer with coconut oil, olive oil, & essential oils...its perfect for the Canadian winter weather, but too heavy for the warmer months.

My skin is super dry so I am going to use on my face, hands and chest only.
