Detox is great! I am sure that sagginess and discolotations are toxic and circulation issues. |

Whilst I think they are important, I'm not so sure they are the sole causes of sagging and disclotations. I think sagging can be due to several other things like not using the facial muscles etc which is why so many people have great results with exercises and/or massages.

Oubeautiskin,
Thanks a lot! I actually do not have fuller cheecks, but as toxins are leaving my face, the skin is getting tighter somehow. I am happy, and believe that my lines may get better as I started all these only in March. |

Hello,
I have emailed my latest photo took in late May to those who have gotten my before/after photos. This is after one year of Tanaka massage, I'm very impressed with the result and my cheeks are lifted and having a much better looking chin. |

Hi Critic,
I have a question. In the video on Tanaka massage there is a comment that the massage eliminates stored fat from the face. However I read in many articles that the facial fat gives volume and fullness to face, in particular to cheeks and with time we lose it and that is why cheeks and other parts of the face get sagging. Could you please explain a bit more on this? Thank you. |

In my case, Tanaka has removed the 'unwanted fat' stored under my eyes, slightly dropped upper eyelids, dropping cheeks and double chin. Hope this helps! |

Critic,
You look great! Actually you looked much younger than your age even in the before photos, but I agree, your face changed definitely with the massage! And I am happy to see that, because you have a very different face than I do, and it proves that the changes are positive with the Tanaka massage for everyone, regardless of skin a nd face type. |

Wonderful, inspirational photos Critic; you don't look like the same person at all, especially on the cheeks and eyes. I wonder where else you can go with this? You can't get any younger looking!!
Many thanks for sharing them. |

Hi everyone! How are you girls?
Im 28 years old and I would like to try the tanaka massage because of my beggining of double chin. I don“t like crazy diets and I don“t think I need one since I“m 54kgs and 1.57 but the shape of my skin been changing (for worse) since I“m not 49/50kgs anymore (I stopped smoking in 2004 and since then I have got this weight, which I believe is healthy).
Am I too young to try this? Should I go slow?
Hugs and many thanks for your attention |

I do have friends suspected that I had botox on my cheeks. I'm Chinese and I want everything in its nature, I don't think I will go for botox or fillers etc - sure not for coming 10 years.
When I do my massage, I focus a lot on my upper eye-lids, use my thumbs to scrap/press both sides. I learnt this from my TCM book, which is to better improve the circulation around the eyes, I do see my eyes are brighter than before. You always look younger if you have brighter eyes - look at the kids. When I use a Chinese bone scrapper (specially for the eyes area), I can feel many mini lumps under the upper eye brow area, it's kind of pain that my husband can't stand when I do it for him.
The 2 photos I send are in super high resolution, you can see every pore and lines very clearly. |

critic has generously shared her latest pictures with me. She really looks younger than her actual age. She looks about in her late 20s to early 30s.
Hey your skin is so firm and taut, with no wrinkles at all. You have lovely glowy skin. Gosh. My skin is like yellow. Even though your Asian too, your skin is rosey and pink! |

Hi, I am similar size as you! 157 cm, within 48kg range, but I am small frame so look fat once I hit 50kg. I have 2 kids so my lower body is widen than pre-baby stage. You should try Tanaka, because it really helps me to get rid of the double-chin and the shape of my face has changed too. |

Critic what exactly does your routine consist of, or did it consist of? I'm wondering how we can make similar gains. How long did you do Tanaka for, and how long did you spend each time doing it? When did you move to the Korean stuff? Did I also read you did something else in between? Just trying to work out a plan so we can all get the same results. |

thanks xx |

Hi,
I've been doing this massage for a few months (I've even spread the "word" around the country where I live with great success!)
I'm very pleased with the results, I look fresher, but only slightly younger... I haven't seen "Critics photos" so I can't say anything, yet I would love to see them...
Anyhow, all the people I know that I have showed this massage is really pleased with the results, not that they look younger though but they all mention their skin (face) seems to glow, and that people have noticed and mentioned it...
Critic, whatever the new Korean method you are dwelling upon,... please share!
Hugs, A. |
