Britney FINALLY filed for divorce after 2 years of being with this loser (and that's a very nice way of putting it):
favourite new word: Fed-Ex
The latest from the new issue of Us Weekly, on newsstands later this week.
Friends close to Britney Spears and Kevin Federline weren't surprised that Spears filed a petition for divorce on Tuesday. Source tell Us Weekly that the couple had a final blowout last week that pushed their marriage to the breaking point.
At a bash for Federline's album release at club Xenii in L.A. on October 31, the couple, say sources, had an explosive argument. While Federline worked the crowd (onstage earlier in the night he yelled, "Ladies, I love you!"), Spears was hidden away in an upstairs dressing room.
Before Halloween night was officially over, the pop star, dressed in a black minidress and barefoot, made a dramatic exit. "She ran down the stairs crying and stormed out," a witness says. "Her eyes were swollen and her eyeliner was smudged. She looked like a complete mess." Federline didn't run after his wife.
Matters remained unresolved by the time the couple headed east (Spears even postponed her NYC arrival by one day), and the pop star was spotted welling up in public again on November 2 while having dinner with a male friend at Library, her hotel's restaurant. "She cried on and off the whole meal," an onlooker tells Us.

Both Britney Spears and Fed-Ex were in New York City this past weekend. However, the tempestuous twosome did not share a room. Nor did they even stay in the same hotel!
After getting to NYC one day apart on separate private jets, Britney stayed at the Regency while Kevin slept at the DoubleTree Guest Suites Times Square.
"They've grown so far apart that they sometimes go days without talking," an insider tells In Touch.
At New York's Regency Hotel, guest Britney Spears "was in The Library restaurant, sitting at a table that had been set aside for her," says an onlooker. But as the chair opposite her remained empty, "she started crying." Insiders tell In Touch she was waiting for her husband, Kevin Federline, to arrive that November 2 night -- but he never did.
Earlier that day, Kevin was overheard arguing on his cell phone. According to a family insider, the couple had a blowout over Kevin's upcoming gig at NYC nightclub Webster Hall. "Britney got mad because Kevin wouldn't allow the kids to go along with him for rehearsals," explains the insider, adding that Britney, 24, likes to have their sons, Sean Preston and Jayden, with her as much as possible. But the couple seemed to have put the fight behind them -- until Kevin was a no-show at the hotel's eatery. A deeply upset Britney took drastic action. "She stayed by herself with the kids that night, and Kevin moved to a different hotel," says the insider.
But Kevin picked the wrong weekend to fight with his famous wife. The night after he stood her up, Kevin was set to launch his concert tour with a performance at NYC's Stereo nightclub, and Britney was scheduled to introduce him. But the pop princess, who has been her husband's biggest supporter, gave as good as she got -- she didn't show up at the hotspot.
Throughout the early part of the evening, "Kevin constantly scanned the room, and was checking his Sidekick," says an observer. "It seemed like he was looking for Britney." While eating a takeout meal alone at a VIP table, Kevin, 28, told In Touch that he'd been "partying all the time," during his trip to New York. He added, "I'm really tired, and it puts stress on me and I get irritable." He denied that he was having family problems, but when another guest asked how Britney and the kids were, he responded, "I don't know."
At 2 a.m., when it was clear Britney would not turn up, "Kevin performed 'Playing with Fire' and 'A League of My Own,' " says a guest. "Afterwards, there was no cheering." Later, the DJ played Britney's hit "Slave 4 U" but "Kevin sat stone-faced until he motioned for the DJ to cut the song off early," says another onlooker. The rapper left the club alone at 4 a.m.
Although Kevin was spotted back at the Regency Hotel on November 4, having seemingly reconciled with Britney, he found himself going solo for the second night in a row. His Webster Hall show drew only 70 fans -- and Britney was not among them.
Afterward, a noticeably glum Kevin dined at Corio, where even a burlesque dancer couldn't seem to cheer him up. At 2:40 a.m., Kevin was still going strong without his spouse. He stopped by Sean "Diddy" Combs' birthday party at hotspot Marquee. By November 6, Britney and Kevin were even further apart. He flew to Canada to attend a taping of Much Music, while Britney stayed behind to appear on Letterman.

All I wanna know is if he's gonna have to pay child support for Cheeto and TaterTot...?
AND how is he gonna pay his CS for his kids with BabyMama #1 now that Brit-Brit isn't there to cut a check for him every month?!
TMZ had some story about how their marriage wasn't even a true one (remember the "fake" ceremony they had? Apparently they never finalized the paperwork) but I haven't had a chance to read the story -- mayhap someone here can check it out and report back...*hint hint* |

Alright, I enjoy poking fun at the Beckhams more than anyone – and I’m ashamed to say that I even took a pot-shot at little Romeo and his girlish locks during the WC last summer – but this is really sad:

London, Nov 5 : They're one of the most photographed couples in the world, but now football ace David Beckham and wife Victoria are terrified that photographers waiting to get a snap of them and their three kids will inadvertently cause serious harm to their son Romeo, who has been diagnosed with epilepsy.
The couple, who are reportedly "devastated" by the news, are now determined to protect their four-year old son from the paparazzi and eager fans looking for a snap, for the flash from cameras may trigger off a violent attack.
News of little Romeo's condition came to light when he reacted violently after being photographed at Heathrow recently.
Though the youngster first shielded his eyes from the flashes, as Posh him through in his buggy, he then started screaming and kicking his legs, causing a furious Victoria to reveal his condition.
"Leave him alone. He's got epilepsy. All that flashing will start an epileptic fit. You can't do that!" the News of the World quoted her, as saying.
Though Posh and Becks had first thought that Romeo, who has been rushed to hospital four times in three years, was having febrile convulsions, common in young children running a high temperature, doctors diagnosed epilepsy after a through check-up.
A pal of the couple said that they had been "devastated" by the news, but were praying that their second son will grow out of the condition.
"They are devastated - worried sick about Romeo. He is on medication to control the seizures but obviously things like flashing lights can trigger one at any time," the pal said.
"They can only hope the medication limits the number of fits he suffers to a minimum and he can enjoy as normal a life as possible. Epilepsy affects a great number of people and many grow out of it. They are just praying Romeo gets better," the friend added.

He’s an adorable little pollywog and I hope the shutterbugs have some respect for his condition as they chronicle his parents’ every move as it’s not the child’s fault he was born into such a family and no photograph is worth causing the little mite to have a seizure, but I still say he still needs Daddy Day-vid to take him to the barber for his first snip!

So do you think the divorce thing is real or for more support for Brit like Whitney is getting? And I hear to teach K-fed a lesson b/c he never really took her seriously about leaving before.
god I hope she is leaving. She MAY have a chance to get it together again.
Also heard she hired old mgr that she fired yrs ago but who is responsible for making her a star in the first place.
sounds like Whitney's story more and more. Both had a lapse of judgement (several yrs long lapse) one with drugs and a loser husband and one with pregnancies and loser husband. |

Britney Spears told husband of two years Kevin Federline that she was divorcing him via a text message while he was recording a TV interview.
The 24-year-old singer decided it was all over on Monday after a very tempestuous marriage and sent a message to Kevin's BlackBerry telling him exactly that.
The wannabe rapper, 27, was filming a segment for MuchMusic in Canada at the time. He interrupted the interview and stormed off, returning 30 minutes later visibly upset.
While the mother of two, who looks amazing after giving birth just eight weeks ago, was filing divorce papers at the Los Angeles superior court citing "irreconcilable differences", Kevin was gushing about his "supportive-wife" and how much he loved his family. The whole incident has been caught on video.

Bastard is going to try and use all those "Britney moments" against her (i.e.: driving with S-P on her lap, driving w/ carseat installed backwards, almost dropping S-P on NYC sidewalk last summer), but hopefully a judge will realize that at least SHE spends times with her babies, unlike that freeloading waste of humanity that is K-fed.
ETA: TMZ even has a story about how he talked a paparazzo into buying him a pair of sneakers in Canada the other day because his worthless *ss was flat-broke! |

I think his plan is to extort more $$$ by saying he has more stories to tell about what happened while they were married. (look at all the goofy stuff she did in public, imagine what went on at home in private)
but IF she gives him more money, an ugly custody battle will not ensue, then no ugly details will come out.

I keep wondering what else she's done recently. Didn't anyone else notice that she looks REALLY different in the latest (Vogue?) magazine spread (about 3 months ago). She doesn't look hispanic anymore. |

It was a knock-down-drag-out day at the soccer field for Tom Cruise on Saturday, problem is -- the victim was an innocent toddler caught in Tom's paparazzi crush.
It went down moments after Tom put his soon-to-be wife, Katie Holmes, in a passionate liplock, then took off for the restroom -- as usual, a crash of photogs followed. As the star smiled and slowly paced toward the public toilets, when a photog accidentally backed into a toddler, knocking her to the ground. "She's bleeding!" screamed the child's mother.
A shocked Cruise stared blankly before extending his arm in a vain attempt to console the kid with a backrub. The child's infuriated mother picked up the kid and began walking away, offering a few words of advice to the world's most famous actor: "You should live in Colorado, get away from them (the photogs)."
Moments later, Tom whispered into the ear of one of his "people," who took off after the Mom and her wailing tot.
After the drama, Tom finally made it to the restroom. Mission accomplished.
