The worse the condition of your lips the faster and deeper the peel. My lips were terrible, I tell ya. I peeled immediately in big sheets. Then all was calm and lovely, soft & rosy. |

My order arrived from Candessence on Friday, and I have used it am & pm since. I am pretty impressed.
It lasts longer than ANY lip product I have used before. For my entire adult life, I have felt the need to use lip balm twice a day. With this product, I don't feel the need to apply (but I do it anyway) because my lips still have moisture remaining from the prior application. I wake up in the morning, and my lips still feel moisturized!
It has a shine to it, so I don't go beyond my lips for the am application. Once applied, it feels very similar to the Wexler lip plumpers that have received very good reviews: some tingling & warmth (no pain), followed by a brief numbness. The visible difference is slight. It is not so sticky that you try to keep your hair away from your lips. I have not experienced any peeling.
I have rarely been bothered by chapped lips, so I can't comment directly on how well it treats this problem, but I would have to believe it would be great because again the moisturizing just lasts so long! |

I went away for a girls weekend, and later in the afternoon, I went inside to apply more lip color, I wear a sheer sheer lipstick, and when I went to apply it, I did a double take, my lips were so rosy on their own, I blew off applying more...it was amazing!!! I was in total shock, my lips DID NOT match my face......unreal....bravo Candy!! I knew my lips were getting nice and rosy but that was just wild.... |

Just received mine today. Love the feel of this on my lips. Will wait a few weeks and post a review. I must say that the tube applicator is fantastic, the best I have used ever. Makes it so easy to apply the product. I bought 2, one for home and one in my purse. Does anyone know how long it takes before seeing results, i.e. peeling and plumping? I'm not expecting an overnight result, just curious. |

Peeling depends on how chapped your lips are. If they are in pretty good shape, it'll be awhile. Plumping was the second day for me but by then I was using it every time I thought about it. I thought the numbing effect was cool. Yeah, I'm deranged.

Then that makes me double deranged cause I love the numbing effect so much that I have put it on about 5 times today in as many hours. I probably will back off tomorrow but right now it's a treat. |

Ok. I've been using it since Friday on my pathetically dry lips. No peeling yet. Perhaps they're a little moister overall, but there's still a line of dryness done the center. I will persevere. |

I've been using it for a little over a week. I love that it's such nice texture and absorbs quickly without leaving that stickiness on your lips.
I don't think I've gotten that "deep peeling" yet tho... Only a slight peeling after the first day. Can't wait till it happens.
I do feel like my lips are plumper. I don't know if it's just my head, or I'm self conscious about my lips because I think about the treatment, but they feel like they're firmer |

Hi Liz! I'm still using it twice a day (a.m. and p.m.), and loving it! I have never experienced the peeling others talked about, but I think it's just because my lips weren't in that bad of shape to begin with. However, I did want some improvement, and I certainly got it! My lips are definitely smoother, more hydrated and yes, I notice an increased plumpness! I love that this product sinks in so well, and that you can use it in conjunction with any lipstick, gloss, etc. that you want to. Definitely an item I will reorder over and over!

Hi, Liz
My lips only peeled once more after the initial deep peel. Now they aren't dry or peeling at all. They're still very soft and hydrated and the plumping is continuous -- by that I mean that my lips have plumped up to their own max. plumpness and have stayed plumped. I use the treatment around the whole lip and mouth area at night and I'm seeing some nice hydration there, too. The vertical lines above my mouth are fading. These were already on their way out due to other actives and the BabyQ but the lip service treatment has really softened and plumped that area again.
What's interesting to me is that the shape of area above my lip has returned to what it was when I was a LOT younger. I have a "short lip", which means that the distance between my nose and top lip is short and I had forgotten over the years what that used to look like. As we age, our top lip area starts curving downward into the mouth and the "dent" above the top tip becomes more shallow. (Have you noticed that in the elderly?) Now, my top lip ridge is hard and is starting to curl upward again and that dent is deeep. I don't know how much of that is attributable to the hydration from the lip service treatment but I'm sure at least some of it is.

I think i've finally hit my "peel." My lips were peeling like crazy yesterday, and I think this was the deep peel I was waiting for. It felt a little strange to me, but felt worse than it looked.
I still have a few little dry spots. I think it should be over soon. I'm still using it religiously day and night, sometimes with a mid-day application. |

Yesterday was my fourth day of using it 2x a day, and last night the "big peel" occurred. This morning I awoke to plumper, firmer, softer lips. I am olive-skinned, and have naturally pigmented lips anyway, but now the color has deepened to a soft rose. Works for me. |

I just ordered 2 sets today. I can't wait until they get here. This will be my first lip plumping attempt so I am excited to see what happens. |

I'm on my eighth day. Lips are moist not dry at all, no peeling or plumping. Hope some peeling happens soon. Oh well, guess you can't have everything. I have 2 tubes, one for home and one in my purse. Strange though as one tube is thick in consistancy and one is thinner. I do love this stuff! |

I do like the thicker one better as I can pull up just enough (which stays up) to cover my lips. Hope that makes sense. |

I am anxiously awaiting my order from Candy ... which should get here sometime in the next week! [It takes so long to get things to Canada!] ... so I've avoided reading this thread too much ...
I'm glad to see all the posts about it though ... and hopefully I too will have beautiful lips very soon!
