I must be off of the curve. I have have been using both products for 3 1/2 weeks. The serum is gone,and I only have a bit of the accelerator left. I guess I need to use less. When will the emails be going out?

Wow, that is a lot of product to go through in 3 1/2 weeks! How many pumps are you using of each product, and are you just using it for your face or other areas?

I was using about 3 pumps of the serum twice a day, sometimes more. My skin must have been dry despite using Skinmedica products for over a year. The serum disappeared into my skin quickly. I was useing a small amount on my neck and occasionally some on my hands.

I was using 4 pumps of accelerator twice a day. I need less as time goes on. I have been having good results, so far. I hope that the improvements continue.

I would really love to see the loyalty program in place. If the company is not ready to commit to an ongoing program, a coupon for current customers would be nice.

I did not order samples, so I did not get the coupon that was offered. What was the discount that came with the samples? I am trying to decide if it is worth ordering the samples, to get the coupon.

Purely from a marketing standpoint, I look for a higher discount from my products that cost more.
AskDerm regularly offers up to 30% off on products and free shipping, and that's when I stock up. I am very loyal to them.
A product with a similar challenge as yours is Extreme Lash's Amplif-Eye. It's only been out a few years. It's more costly than a lot of eyelash growth products out there. Every now and then they offer a "buy one, get one" incentive. This gives an incentive to stock up on the product, but the bottom line is, customers use it more than they would otherwise due to the price.
Since you are new, I would think you'd want to get the product to as many customers as possible, for the first few months at least, to give people time to see some positive changes and to get the attention of the "beauty" media. In an ideal world, people would then start commenting on how great the customer's skin looks and asking what they use. That gives repeat incentives to customer #1, and inspires the second person to become a customer, so at a minimum your customer base doubles.

As far as a loyalty incentive, it would have to be 20% at this price point to get me to participate.

Just ordered the serum and accelerator today after having first received the samples. Now that I have done so, upon reordering I will expect to see a discount offer of at least what I received with this order (as a sample user) but preferably more of course.

Personally I thought the discount I received just for requesting the sample was generous for not having purchased anything.

An informational e-mail would be great in this case, but not an actual offer of a discount as that would preempt the discount activity already in place for those who order the product after receiving samples. In other words, who would order based on the sample user offer if they know they can hold out for an even better discount that will come in an e-mail?

·      The program starts on the second purchase, with a discount of 20%

·      On the third and all subsequent purchases, the discount is 25%

·      Customers must order at least 4 times a year to maintain their VIP status.
