This may sound crazy but I've noticed continued moisture and supersoft skin after I shower in the areas I use Stemutone before even putting on the next after shower layer. (IE: It appears to go very deep and have lingering effects).

This is what I am after!!

I have extremely dry skin (it easily turns into alligator/crocodiley scaley skin if I don't use body lotion) and love Curelle's body lotion -

Ingredients: Purified water, cetearyl glucoside (from manioc, coconut), avocado oil, sucrose cocoate, glycerine (veg), D-alpha Tocopherol (nat. Vit. E), panthenol (vit. B5), lonicera japonica.

I also like Lac Hydrin lotion, but the smell is disgusting.... it does work though, for flaky, bumpy skin or discolouration.

But now all of you are making me so interested in the Stemutone.... I think I'm going to have to try it!

Hi mur - Stemutone is uniquely fabulous product - can only imagine how it could help you. I would love to know how it works on your skin if you get it.

I'd like to try that stemutone. If it is that beneficial for the body, I wonder what it would do for the face.

I finally ordered... I am excited!
My skin is super dry so I am going to use on my face, hands and chest only.

I'm not sure about use on the face but I hope you will report in on results.

I like Vaseline Body Lotion. It keeps my skin moisturised and gives it an instant glow and suppleness. Also another product I really like is lander Advanced Skin care lotion which is filled with Vitamin E along with Vitamin A & C - Good for the Skin! It gives maximum skin protection.

Hi sister sweets - I should have it by the end of the week. So excited to try. My facial skin has always been incredibly dry. I plan to use in the evening. I will let everyone know. Smile

Let us know when there is a sale. I hate paying full price for anything these days. Then when I get it, I plan on using it only on one arm so I can compare it to the untreated one. That is the best way to test a product, in my opinion, and to know you aren't imagining improvements.

I haven't had any breakouts in years but when I tried this on my face I had several breakouts!!! I will stick to using it on my body!

Avon Naturals conditioning water lily & aloe hand & body lotion is really amazing. It helps to refresh and revitalise your skin. Aloe provides intense moisturisation for dry, sunburned skin.

The best body lotion I've tried is the one I make myself:

20% of your favourite oil
+ 5-8 % E wax
+ 1% preservative
+ oil soluble actives ( Vit E, Tetra C, Retynil Palmitate, Vit K, ALA, or whatever you like.)
+ water and water-soluble actives ( Allantoin, Green Tea extract, etc.)

Directions: Combine oils and emulsifier in hot water bath (don't boil it!), blend it gently. then add the water and blend till it cools.

You can make it fragrance-free or add your favourite scent.

You can also use any other emulsifier in the place of E wax. For example, GrannyD SEA L'Silk Emulsifier:

http://stores.skinessentialactives.com/-strse-230/GrannyD-SEA-L%27Silk-/Detail.bok

I make a large load of this lotion, then divide it into small cute bottles or jars, add different scents and give them away as gift to friends and family, every one loves them!

Just started using Stemutone.

As sister sweets mentioned it seems to go really deep. I have used a couple of days on my hands, neck and face. For my skin, I use a hydrosol first then apply a light coat. Feels really nice and is not greasy looking at all.

Again, just a couple of days in but I am really liking this so far. Will check back in and report more in a few weeks.

Thanks for the recommendation.

I am just about to finish my last tube of Stemutone. I bought it with the buy 3 get 1 free sale so the price wasn't too bad. I can't really say anything improved except that it really moisturizes when first applied. I am going back to Skin Biology Protect and Restore Lotion. It also moisturizes and I like the scents more.

Ok, I have to say that I am loving stemutone. I am using it on my face with no problems (again, my skin is very dry). I love that it gives skin a *very* slight sheen which makes skin look healthy not like you are wearing a shimmer cream. For my face, I mix it with a little Benefit Sun Bean (which on it's own is too much for me). It looks FAB!

I am also testing on my hands. Again, they look and feel smoother.
Great buy!

I've used Skin Biology on my face and neck for years and like the results but I want to try Stemutone on one arm and back of hand so will just buy one tube. After a month I should be able to see if there is improvement compared to the nontreated arm. Of course, if it does work then I'll buy more.

There are quite a lot I have tried,
Caudalie anti-oxydant body lotion,
Vichy essentielles body milk,
Vaseline, and Johnson's baby!
I'm not sure which of them is the best,
but I can say the body shop body butter is the worst!

I've tried quite a few body lotions over the years, and a couple that really stood out for me are:

CeraVe Moisturizing Cream – super hydrating, great for dry or sensitive skin.

Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion – lightweight, absorbs quickly, and leaves skin soft.

Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel Cream – refreshing, gel-based, perfect for summer.

I recently came across some good tips and product suggestions on manzibam
that were quite helpful too. Definitely worth checking out if you're into body & skin care.

What about you guys? Any lotions that worked really well for very dry skin?
