Ladies, I may not have a lifetime of experience with good cleansers and moisturizers, but one thing I do know is eye creams. (I've never had trouble with products around my eyes, and have used them religiously since my teens.)

Technically, I think this one would be considered an "eye treatment" rather than an "eye cream", but it does such a great job of moisturizing, there's no need to use anything with it. I can see an immediate difference after applying this product. I'm not sure if it has optical reflectors or just plumps up the skin, but my fine lines disappear. (Unfortunately, the effect is only temporary.)

I first sampled it at a store, patting it around my right eye only. I returned to my car where hubby was waiting and asked, "Do you see a difference in my eyes." He took a quick look and answered, "Yeah. The left one has a bunch of tiny lines around it, and the right one doesn't." Surprised

I FLEW out of the car and almost knocked people down in my haste to get back to that Orlane counter!!

DETAILS: The packaging is classy--a small blue & silver pump bottle, so there's no waste or risk of contamination. It's white in color, light in texture, and melts right into the skin. The fragrance is a light floral, no vapors to burn the eyes.

Now, the BIG question:
How does it compare to Cellcosmet's eye cream? The jury's still out on that one...Wink

The above post is a review of the following product available at EDS:
Orlane B21 Extreme Line Reducing Eye Contour (15 ml / 0.5 oz.)
Orlane B21 Extreme Line Reducing Eye Contour (15 ml / 0.5 oz.)

B21 Extreme Line Reducing Care Eye Contour helps decongest, smooth and stimulate the cellular structure around the eyes. Aids in the reduction of tell-tale signs of fatigue.

Three weeks have gone by since I posted that review, and since then I've tried a few other eye cream/gels.

I now realize that there's a lot of difference in eye products. For example, Decleor's Hydrafloral eye gel is completely useless, and Bodyshop's grapeseed oil eye cream only makes you THINK you're doing something right! (The premature wrinkling around my eyes occurred while religiously using this product. Stupidly, I used it for years!!)Mad

So the contest came down to Orlane Extreme Line Reducing Eye Contour, Orlane Oligo Cooling Eye Balm, and Cellcosmet Eye Contour Cream. I found that all three were equal in their ability to temporarily erase the fine lines around my eyes. (However, no effect on the deep ones that form when I smile:()

Orlane Extreme... is an anti-aging treatment, but after using it for almost six months, I see no improvement after it's washed off.

The Cellcosmet and Orlane Oligo smell better and feel better, and they do just as good a job at plumping up fine lines, so I'll be sticking with them from now on.Wink

Thanks for the update, Alohagirl!

I have not used an eyecream since my 2001 purchase of Darphin's --- the perfume was WAYYYYY too much for me and I hated it. Since then, I have been neglecting my eye area.

I will have to keep the two you mentioned into consideration! Smile

I had really bad allergy reaction to the Orlane B21 Anti-Fatigue Recovery Care Eye Contour. I had to give it away. My mother, on the other hand, is quite taken with it, so maybe it's just me.

Thanks for the review,Alohagirl. I have a terrible time with eye creams. They are either not moisturizering enough or they make my eyes itch and burn Confused I use Orlane sensitive cleansing lotion in the morning, and have had to problems.
I've tried Lancome,Phytomer,Celex-C, and many more. So maybe I'll give Orlane a try.
