Hi Google,
Yes ... distilled water is ideal ... but just be aware that if you use only distilled water the Vitamin C serum won't last as long as if you used either glycerine or PG in the mix.
Still ... a distilled water Vitamin C serum is just as highly effective as the others.
I'd certainly rather make it with distilled water and have to remake it every week than not make it at all.
Good luck

Hi everyone,
I don't seem to get on with vit C serum at all. I have tried making it with glycerin, and it made my skin horrible. It looked red, and dry but with very open pores. I thought it may have been the glycerin, so I have tried adding it to a bit of toner (i read somewhere that someone had done this) - however, my skin just doesn't look nice the next day. Should I perhaps try the mix with an even smallerm part of vit c ? It seems everybody loves vit c serum, whatever the brand, but it just doesn't seem to do anything for my skin, any advice anyone ?
thanks

I am not getting on with my diy versions at all either. I think it's gonna have to be back to cellular skin, though I'm tempted by psf 20%. Just need to get around using glycerin |

I have heard that in some cities/towns they use alot more chemical in the water then others. chlorine. Dries hair out. And minerals can build up on hair and make it dull or flat. so maybe she uses some sort of distilled water wash to help with that?
Lol i dont know just a suggestion. |
