Hello, I have read alot of suggestions to use this oil for a sensitive, oily skin. My skin sensitive, sometimes oily. I had bad experience with some products, and decided to use Rose Hip, Jojoba, and Primerose oils. I started with Rose Hip, and my skin broke out with a little red pimples. On the site that I bought it from they explain that breaking out is OK , because skin has to detoxify. If anyone experience something similar, how long this "detoxification" will be? When usually skin stop (if ever ) breaking out from oil?
Thanks in advance

laral,
concerning the rose hip oil (if it is rosa mosqueta oil) & evo, i've always heard that it is not good for skin w. acne...

you could try using very small amounts of the rho & evo mixed w. the jojoba.
jojoba oil, yes, good for all skins. just monitor the amount your applying, better to start off with just a bit & put more on after a few minutes if your skin feels uncomfortable (just the same as cooking, you can always add more seasoning, but you can't take away). also, to lighten up the texture, you can add a dribble or a few sprays of hydrosol to the oil in the palm of your hand and apply that to your face (i usually do this during the summer). if you don't feel your getting enough slip to massage/rub the oil into your skin, just lightly pat press it into your skin using both your palms & your fingers...i usually find this a much more satisfying way of applying product.

Hi Lamicuz, thanks for the answering !
I got your answer in my e-mail only today even though you answered to me in Jan 23...I guess there was something wrong with the system.
I find the right amounts of oils to mix for my type of skin: jojoba 10 ml., rose hip 10 ml., and I put rose essencial or camomile oil about 2-3 drops. My favorite oil is jojoba, sometimes I take off my make-up with it. |
