Forgive me if this is redndant and already reviewed. Just wondering if anyone has tried the Colorscience lip wands/plumpers($15-25) here on EDS. I just noticed them. They have the oligopeptides, which is good but maybe if you added your own niacin(form personalformulator or skinactives)it would create more of a bee stung look).

Anyway....just curious.

This is just me, but I’ve tried nearly every lip plumper out there that contains the “MaxiLip” and/or oligopeptide technology and I have to say that every single one of them was a waste of money in my opinion. Ditto the ones that use niacin, if they don’t contain any other “active” ingredient besides niacin or the peptides – none of them have ever given me any noticeable or visible results. Even CityLips was a major let down for me...of course this could be simply because I got spoiled by the “immediate gratification” of taking the HA/collagen pills and looking in the mirror and seeing a noticeable difference!

The point I'm trying to make is that I'll pass on this one and let someone else play guinea pig. It's gotten to the point where I've wasted so much money on all kinds of topical lip plumpers that did absolutely nothing that these days I'm only willing to try new plumpers that have (or *claim* to have) some cutting edge technology that makes it work, whereas before I couldn't walk past a display of products claiming to be lip plumping without ending up playing the sucker because I couldn't stop myself from digging out my wallet! Now that I'm older, wiser -- and probably a lot poorer -- I do my homework before blindly surrendering my credit card....

BTW, isn't ColorScience the other brand by Bare Escentuals founder Leslie Blodgett, or am I mixing that up with something else? If it's the some company I'm thinking of, I remember Mabsy was vastly disappointed by one of the ColorScience products that she tried a while back so that would be another reason for me to be suspicious. Yeah, I realize that one dud product doesn't mean the whole product line sucks, but still...I haven't heard or read a lot of buzz surrounding ColorScience so I elect to reserve judgment.

I got the same promotion. It seemed to be a sample for the lip fusion xl but when I read through it I saw that it was for a sample of the lip fusion colorshine, so I payed no mind. Maybe I read it wrong. Confused
