You've probably already heard many of these tips, and maybe there are some you haven't. All 52 contestants gave a beauty tip. You might be really surprised by some...especially the one from Miss Rhode Island! My favorites are the beauty secrets from Miss Michigan and Miss Utah.

Yes but it has to be tooth PASTE ... not gel. The old type of toothpaste was made from ingredients like clay ... which is why it works.

If you have a gel type toothpaste, it won't work at all.

the sun would bake the sugar in the cola! No wonder you come out lovely and brown, you carmelize your skin like a creme brule!

In 10 years she'll have the hide of a rhino if she keeps that up.

As the contestants are all still very young they don't really have prove, do they? I find it much more inspiring if somebody 40+ looks gorgeous without plastic surgery. Then I will listen to their Beauty tips because they have been proven by time.

No kidding - What cracks me up is that I know someone who has forever competed in beauty pageants, has her own fashion consultant, weights about 2 oz. and MY makeup always looks better even though she has every makeup product under the sun and spends about 2 hours each day putting it on and making her hair "perfect" --- when she is done with her hair, it looks like a wig -- NO THANKS! She is definitely not someone I would look to for beauty tips.

low pony tails only work on those with a long neck and the right shaped head LOL. being neckless (ok, not quite LOL) and not having enough "bump" out the back I look a bit like a nun

My favourite is "less is more". How much makeup do they actually have on when they're up on stage?! More than I wear in a week!

Somebody should tell those girls the caramelized coke suntan works with proper cola only ! If they drink coke light (as they certainly do !) the artificial sweetener wouldn't caramelize and actually i don't want to know what it will make with their skin instead. Probably they couldn't show up on the 2007 competition anymore...

Those girls are 18-20 years old - in that age i had no beauty secrets, i was happy enough getting rid of my pimples and was busy studying (but then, i was no miss Rhode Island ...).
