Okay, I know this subject has been beat to death but, I just bought this make up and want to know why my face feels so DRY all day. I have dry skin to start with. I use the olive oil/castor oil skin care I read off of this site. I use the skin rev-er upper prior to application. Other than the dryness, I really like it. I do not see where is shines or is cakey as others have complained about. Any suggestions? Thanks!! |

Hi Hattie, I use BM and love it... I've never used the skin rever-upper, so I have no clue there.. The only thing I can think of is, do your use a moisturizer before you use the minerals? That does make a difference.. |

I have wrinkles and dry skin on my cheek bones. After using MMU for about 5 months now I found some "tricks" to make the wrinkles look less.
Put on your moisturizer: some site tells you to wait for 10 min but it did not work for me. I wait for about 2 ~ 5 min when the moisturizer is still "wet". Put on 1st layer of your MMU powder foundation. IT HAS TO BE VERY, VERY LIGHT otherwise you'll look like a geisha. And then put on 2nd layer.
If your moisturizer trapped too much powder then put a little bit moisturizer on the tips of your index, middle, and ring fingers, pat on your face softly and you'll have a natural look. |

I will tried the "wet" moisture trick and it seems to feel better today. Thanks. I guess since it is a powder, you really need to moisturize. I thought that was what the rev-uper was for. Not enough for my skin...
Thanks for your help!! |

I gave up on BE (for the winter months anyway...) because I was sooo dry by the end of the day. Good luck. |

I don't like BE that much. It makes my zits stand out and I look shiney all the time.
Good luck with it, though, some people like it. |
