A while ago I received a Sothys GWP pack that had in it, among other things, a 15ml tube of the Hydroptimale Gel. I started using it around mid November and it ran out today. I've been using it in the mornings only (although I have been generous with it) and I've been using the Liposome Hydrogel underneath it (and a vit C serum underneath that - like I said before, I like things nice and complicated Smile

).

I have to say that I like this lightly scented gel-cream formulation a lot. Obviously, it's hard for me to distinguish between the work of the Hydroptimale and the Liposome Hydrogel but together they leave my skin feeling silky smooth and plump. The only problem is that products like that make me want to touch my face all the time, that can't be good! Smile

I would definitely repurchase this, the only thing that is stopping me (apart from the new tube of Phytomer Extended Youth Day Cream in my bathroom) is the fact that this product, in full size, actually comes in a pot. If it came in a pump pack or even a tube then I'd be happy. The Liposome Hydrogel actually does come in a pump pack and I plan on buying it when I run out of the MDF Advanced Hydrating Complex Gel (thanks mum! Smile

) that I just started using over my vit C serum (my Liposome Hydrogel also just recently ran out).

I hope this inspires someone to try the Hydroptimale though, it really is a very nice moisturiser.

Hi Mabsy, I just bought my mom the Sothy's set that came with liposomes, hydroptimal gel and noctuelle night cream. she said they come with a spatula, if that makes a difference for you. :P

Thanks for letting me know Thoughtcrime. But I'm way too lazy to fiddle around with spatulas. Well not too lazy, it's just that I'm always running late in the mornings (sleep is my best friend lately) so I'm always in a hurry when I apply stuff to my face. I once had an eye cream that came with a spatula and it was a pain using the spatula and keeping it in a place where I wouldn't have to wash it each time.

I have a feeling that I will eventually cave and get Hydroptimale again. I'll see if I can get it in a pack so it comes in a 15mL TUBE :P

How's your mum finding the Soothy's set?
