I have been using eminence for a while and so far, I like it. However, I am a little confused on one thing. I was reading one of the posts in theis forum about eminecne in UK(if I am not mistaken) and I checked out ilcsi.com that was mentioned in the post. After contacting their US distributor, the customer service ppl told me that ilcsi is no longer the provider for eminence. I am confused.... if ilcsi is not a provider anymore, is eminence product still handmade and made in hungary? anybody can help me clarify?

well, if you go to the Ilcsi site you can read that Eminence it's not a dealer at all !!!

"Éminence Organic Skin Care trademarked the word “Ilcsi”, which is the international brand and the nickname of the creator of the products they used to distribute from Ilcsi Beautifying Herbs Hungary until the spring of 2005. For this reason Aunt Ilcsi’s products can not be marketed under her name in the U.S. or Canada and are now called ilike, which is another nickname for her. The current Éminence products are no longer associated in any way with Aunt Ilcsi Molnar or her family owned company, and the ilike organic skin care products are not associated in any way with Éminence Organic Skin Care."

I have heard too that Ilcsi is the family name and these are the original hand made products while Eminence and Ilike are just copies. I love some of the Ilcsi masks and the serums are fantastic as well.

Ilcsi is not the family but the first/christian name (familiarized form of Ilona in Hungary - Ilona=Helen)
