I was wondering, do any of these topicaly applied glosses work? But I mean not like giving you the sensation of working but actually increasing the size of the lips.
Having people commenting or measuring it and so on.
I am really curious as to what your opinions are... |

Thank you chimera for your reply. However I was more interested on products applied topically and not taken oraly. Thanx again! |

Perform a search of the forum by typing in the name of the lip plumping product you wish to read about. IMHO, LipFusion and Sally's Hansen's Lip Inflation work the best of all the topical plumpers I have tried (which has been nearly every single one).... |

I've had really good results with City Lips. Plus the colors are lovely. They have much more pigment than LipFusion.

Lori I just bought City Lips (alot of good reviews on Makeupalley) and started over the weekend. Now it says that it can take up to 30 days. How long before you noticed plumping?
I'm always afraid to try the colors because the computer is so dif from the actual color. I like "nudes" the best. What would be the most natural color? I heard the sample set, the containers are so small, you can't get much out so it is a waste of money.
I've tried Lipfusion (and XL) and really liked the plumping and it didn't burn. but since it adhears to the natural water in your lips it did not always plump well. Sometimes I just didn't have the water there. I think that is why some don't like it either.
But City Lips seems to have a dif approach to plump lips and dif ingredients. So did this help your lips stay plumped? I mean you don't have to keep it on to plump right? did you use it as a "night treatment" as well?
I also tried the HA caps but it gets expensive to take those 2 times a day every day. It really did plump my lips and in fact, it looked as good as when I had actual HA (Restylane) in my lips. Now I had a very small amt because I just asked for what I had when I was 20. HOWEVER, it sometimes plumped my whole face! Eyelids and all which I did not like. But that is just me.
So I am hoping CL will be the answer.
Sorry so long... |

For what it’s worth, I used CityLips exclusively for at least 6 weeks (let me tell you, it was HARD being “faithful” to just one lip plumper!), but I didn’t notice any A) immediate plumping results or B) cummulative plumping results. |

Well it is working nicely for ME. But someone who recommended the CL said the LF did not work well for her. Its so dif for everyone I'm reading about.
Carekate, did/do you have puffiness in your face at all with the HA supplements? Or am I just really sensitive to it? |

No, no puffiness. Maybe you could lessen your daily doseage? You only need to take the mega-dose the first day. |

My experience (and again everyone responds differently) was that I noticed plumping about 4 days into using it. I use it day and night. The clear at night (a nice thick layer) and the colors during the day.
The minis are half the size of the full size. It is hard to reach the top and bottom of the tubes (for both sizes), btu if you remove the top "stopper" you will be able to reach it all better. I like the minis because it allowed me to try a few colors so now I know my favorites.
As for the colors....don't be afraid. They are more subtle than they appear in the package or online.
