Hey Mabsy!
I was reading the site of AGIdermatics ( http://www.agiderm.com/index.php ), the maker of this new Dimericine® (T4N5 Liposome Lotion)... and whilst the Dimericine is still under FDA testing, I was interested to see that from March 2006 they will have a skin care line out called "Remergent" ( http://www.remergentskin.com/ ) AND one of the products sounds very very interesting:
Quote: |
DNA Repair Formula is a resurgent repair serum enabling the skin to recover from past UV damage and stimulating it to resist future photo-damage through natural recuperation. |
I doubt it will have the same formula like the Dimericine, but it is probably a preview of what is to come. Gotta get the CC clear!! |

Thank you! This looks good and I hope it's related to Demericine (you'd think it would be in some way...).
I've bookmarked the site and am now starting the psychological conditioning program for my CC so it doesn't cark it come March I bet this stuff will be rather pricy! I will definitely try this (unless the price is *really* unreasonable), it would be a great addition to my vit C serum I think. |

yes yes... feeling a bit obsessed with this at the moment... my dad is at home recovering from his skin grafted nose (done on Monday) and mum goes in for the whole side of her face (3rd time in 20 years) in a couple of months.
According to an article in W Magazine this month, Dimericine is now in clinical trial phase for FDA approval and the article in Allure this month quotes the inventor as saying it would be available "in a few years" - but at first it will only be to those who have genetic condition that makes them prone to cancer - but I bet it spreads beyond that quickly. |

I'm sure if the approvals go through without a glitch then this will be a very popular product. Why can't they just make enough of this for everyone to use though?
All the best to your parents - sounds like a very unpleasant process to go through. I hope it all heals up quicky.
That reminds me that I should really go and get my spots checked.... |

Thank you so much ~ I know this was not directed at me BUT after I had a skin cancer on my nose this Summer; I have had my eye on FDA approval of Dimericine. I was very disappointed to read it could be years before approval. Your post cheered me up considerably ~ I cannot wait to try the DNA serum. My CC is ready!
Thank you so much!!! |
