If you use a self tanner on your face, would you suggest to put it on first before everything or as the last thing? Does self tanners clog facial pores? Should I skip it and just stick to my powered bronzer?
thanks! |

I used to use the Estee Lauder tanners and I put it on before the rest of my layers 'o stuff.
Now I have Neutragena's Build-a-tan and it can be used in place of your moisturizer.
I still have my bronzer and LOVE it, but I like to use it in summer for more of a 'believeable' sun kissed look with a face tanner. It depends on the look you want. I use my bronzer as a blush over my face tanner. It works for me. Hope it helps! |

When I use a self-tanner on my face I generally use it in the evening (or on weekends) so I can put it on clean skin and wait for it to sink in. Then, a few hours later, I apply my usual skincare products (minus anything exfoliating). My fave face self tanner so far is the Lancome Flash Bronzer Gel (can't remember exact name, sorry) and I haven't had any problems with it clogging pores. |

As I have very dry skin, I cleanse and tone my face, then apply my moisturiser and eye cream. After a few minutes, I apply Clarins Liquid Bronze.
I always do this on a night time before going to bed, so the self-tanner has plenty of time to do its job. |
