Anyone see significant lip plumping with out having full lips to begin with? I noticed that most people who have seen results with the HA, have nice sized lips to begin with. I ordered my HA pills with the Biocell II and should be receiving them tomorrow. My mouth and lips are on the small side and I am so hoping to have noticeably plumper lips soon!
TIA

I have very normal size non poofy lips, my lips are no where near large nor are they tiny (at least to me ). What the HA gave me was poofier and fuller lips than what I started with, what it def did not give me was big ole wonderful model lips, only surgery would give me that. As we age our lips get smaller what HA does is give you ur own and hopefully a bit better lip. I hope that helps a bit. Also for first 2 days or so (I am getting old so can't quiet recall) I could feel my lips were plumped but couldnt see it in the mirror, then poof there they were.

My top lip was getting thinner than my bottom lip (oh, how I love aging....). The HA helped plump up my top lip so that it was the same as my bottom lip again. Now with the CITY LIPS too, my top lip is actually slightly fuller than my bottom lip. Go figure!

There was somebody in the "Eureka" thread (the 20+ page thread that started it all!) who told us her husband used to call her "chicken lips" because her lips were so small, and she said that she noticed immediate and amazing results as well.
The key is the doseage. Erin, I'm going to PM you with instructions on how to get started. |

I hope, hope, hope that my lips will get noticeably bigger! The other benefits of the HA won't be bad either . I ordered the Twinlab Maxilife Chicken Collagen Type II and Health Logics Derma Beauty Hyaluronic Acid Gold Serum. Do I put the serum on my lips? I also ordered Lip Lush/Lip Bloom last week. Lip Lush is supposed to give an immediate plumping effect and the Lip Bloom is to work over time. About 30-90days and the effect is supposed to last about 6 months.

I tried using an HA serum on my lips (mine was a serum from Revive Labs) and it didn't do anything other than severely dry out my lips. I, personally, do not recommend using an HA serum on the lips if you're hoping for lip plumping results because it doesn't work. Just the pills do... go figure! |

Sorry to be the one to give you the "bad news" but I used the LipLush and LipBloom and wasn't overly impressed with either. In fact, the LipLush did nothing for me. The LipBloom did plump alittle but I didn't notice it until several weeks into using it. And it certainly didn't last 6 months. In fact I don't think it lasted 6 hours. Anyway....that's my experience. I hope it works better for you!!!

Yes, after adding the City Lips, my top lip is bigger than ever.
The effects wore off too fast with Lipfusion. But the effects are cumulative with CL and I can tell my own collegen is working for my lips. I don't have to have the CL on to look plump. It takes a couple of weeks (they say 30 days for full effect) but it did work for me. I can't until I see after 30 days. |

I use to have very small lips, but since I started taking these and started using Lipfusion, my lips are a lot fuller! |

how long did it take for your lips to get plump? i am taking HA(since friday) and using hollywood rx serum(doesn't pllump-but makes very nice gloss, not sticky at all). Lucky Lips is really worthless and i am waiting for lipbloom to come and lastly, i am going to try swelllips. |

I didn't notice results overnight! it took a few days. I woke up one morning and my mom told me my lips were fuller. I had a crease in my skin above my mouth from where my lips had pushed the skin up!!! I was very happy. You can't see the crease anymore, but I lips are still as full. |

I've been using Jarrow Formulsa HA and I have a plump, pillowy thing going on.. My lips were never bad, but I knew they could be better, from my younger years...LOL Now, you're not going to get Angelina Jolie lips, but I'm very happy with the pillowy, filled out effect..
I also used the Hollywood RX and it did plump my lips.. They tell you it will take about 30 days to see results... The reason I stopped using it was because they didn't ship my auto shipment for 2 months and when I finally got an answer, I was told it was on back order.. I was NOT Happy, because there was NO contact to let me know.. My feeling was, they should have filled the auto shipments and not the new orders.. Very POOR customer service IMO... |

Even though you PM'd this question to me, I wanted to post it here for everyone's benefit:
Directions: On Day 1, take 2 pills in the morning, then followup with 1 pill at lunch and another before bed to “kick-start” lip plumping results. After that, take 1 pill twice daily. Also, don't forget to drink plenty of water while taking the supplements!
HTH,

Well, so much for me saying the HA didn't work for my lips.
It did work for improving a recurring shoulder injury. But - other than the improved mobility and lessened pain, of which I'm very grateful for I saw no other changes. I was on my 2nd bottle of Source Naturals Hyaluronic Joint Complex (100 mgs of HA & 600 mgs of BioCell II per dose, 2 capsules).
When it was time to re-purchase more HA the Source Naturals was out of stock. So, I picked up instead Natures Way Hydraplenish.
There is no real difference that I can find really between the 2. But, the 1st night I took my 2 capsules and went to bed. The next morning I woke up dying of thirst. Went to the sink to get some water and Holy Cow!! It looked like someone belted me in the mouth. Someone here described a "pillow" effect. Yup - that would be a good description.
Is it because I'm on my 3rd bottle of the HA? Is it the different brand? I don't know. All I can say is that it worked fabulously. Other than I am parched all the time now. Drinking water like a camel at a desert oasis. |

I'm interested to try this brand and see if I notice a difference -- from which site did you order it? |

I am now concerned since I have been taking HA suppliments. I am taking them because on another post, it was mentioned that it helped clear skin. I do not really need "plump" lips and I do not want the "pillow" effect. I do not want to look like I got punched in the mouth. Does it look good? That reference sort of scares me. |

I called it a pillow effect.. I don't by any means look like I got punched in the mouth! Whathappened for me, is that my lips just filled up some.. I kinda wish they would have some more, but I assume you get what you had to start with..
I've also been chicken to stop taking 2 pills 2x's a day... So that's what I started with and that's what I still take.. I'm about ready to finish my second bottle..
WOW, I'm really interested in the Natures Way Hydraplenish, after reading what you wrote Candy8865... I'm wondering if it would make even more of a difference... If so that would throw my thinking you get what you had idea, right out the window!

Thank you, sorry for my misunderstanding. Yes, that affect would be fine. I have sort of felt like my lips feel plumper, nothing that I notice in the mirror, but I am wondering if the HA is doing just that....? |

LOL - no worries Bergquis, if you read any other of my posts you'll see it's just my manner of speaking. Imagine this...all it does is re-inflate your lips. The little lines you may see on the perimeter of your lips will be gone because the area has "plumped" up... it's a pleasant effect. And doesn't at all feel like you got punched in the mouth!! |
