After reading the posts this week. I've decided to try Cellcosmet. It's pricey so although I'd probably like both, I'll buy either cream or gel to start. Any suggestions? Don't really have lines but lack of firmness below eyes. I'm 47. Any help you can give, I'd truly appreciate.

I recently got the X'mas special for Cellcosmet with the Cream and Gel together. For me I found the gel OK but it tend to leave a film behind in the morning.

The cream is more effective and the eye area is smoothen in the mornings. After using the cream, I found the area around my eyes is less dry and the fine lines do not show as much. Also, if you are using a concealer, the eye cream is better as a primer.

I did not find the eye cream overly rich, so you needn't worry. If you are looking at one simple effective product, the Cellcostmet eye cream is it!Very Happy

Hi Ladies,

Can I please ask for the ingredients in the Cellcosmet Eye Cream?

I am starting to round up products for my winter skin care regime. I have just started using an eye cream that I picked up from my trip to France last year that has 3.4% Silicon derivative, 3% Jojoba oil and 0.2% Hypo-allergenic active ( not quite sure what that last ingredient is or does..Surprised).... just wanting to know what the Cellcosmet has in it to help me decide.

Thanks in advance!

I bought the Cellcosmet special also and I like both the gel and the cream. I'm using the gel at night and the cream in the morning nowadays because the instructions on the gel say to use it at night. I think if I had to pick just one of those products though it would be the cream though. I love the light texture, the smell and the fact that I can put it all over the eye area.

Summertimegirl - I'll check if the cream has ingredients listed on the bottle. I think they might be just on the box, which I have thrown out. Perhaps somebody else still has theirs...

Hello Alohagirl,

THANK YOU! very much for writing all the ingredients down for me! I'm really grateful. My Lord, there is a lot of stuff in there-- Surprised all good, high-tech, high-quality ingredients. How have you found the Cellcosmet Cellular Eye Contour Cream? Do you like it? How does it compare to the Orlane Oligo Cooling Balm Eye Contour that you liked very much? Wink

Thanks again for your time. Hope you are doing well and happy.Very Happy

Summertimegirl,

All is well and happy on my end of the Pacific, thank you. How are things on your end? (I'm assuming Australia is indeed in the Pacific. I flunked Geography class and will forever remain geographically challenged.) Sad

I'm having a hard time deciding which is better, Cellcosmet's Eye Contour Cream or Orlane's Oligo Cooling Balm. And I need to decide fast 'cuz I'm almost out of both!Surprised

They are just about identical in effectiveness and pleasure of use. So it really comes down to price and ingredients. I suspect that Cellcosmet's ingredients are better quality, but Orlane costs one fourth as much. But then, with the Cellcosmet, at 1.03 ounces, you get four times as much product as the Orlane at 15 ml. At least I think so. (I flunked Metric class, too.)

So the real question is, can I bring myself to shell out $215 Canadian all at once for a single product?
:ouch! And if I do, will my insurance agent write me a policy for it ? Wink

Hi Alohagirl,

Things couldn't be better at my end, but getting a little restless as I have been on holidays while most of my mates are back at work this week, hence the frequency of visits to EDS and spate of posts on the forum lately!Very Happy:P I can't complain though...nicely rested, a little fitter and sporting a bit of a tan, so ready for work next week! And yes, Australia is in the Pacific... we're in the same 'hot' hemisphere I never took Geography but wished I had, now that I love to travel.

Thanks for your comparative oppinion of the Cellcosmet and Orlane eye creams....when it comes to splurging on something like an expensive eyecream, I'm a bit like you-- if something similar works well, regardless of price then that rules sepreme for me. I go purely by what the product DOES and how effective it is over a good period of time, also by what other people notice, as Casper's Mum pointed out once, you're used to seeing your face all the time that the improvements may not be as noticeable to you as to others. Surprised Your hubby's been a good critic before! My mum's an excellent indication for when something's doing it's job, as I don't see her every day-- when my skin's misbehaving, she notices straight away. I haven't tried Cellcosmet's Eye Contour Cream as yet but would like to one of these days.

Summertimegirl Very Happy
