I have started using mineral makeup(bare escentuals) and i love it but i have some slight wrinkles under my eyes and i think it emphasises them even if i use the mineral veil as well. Is there anything i can do to help this or is there anything i can buy to help?

Hi Lorrapaw,

You're not going to believe this ... because I know I didn't ... but if the mineral makeup is accentuating your lines etc, you're probably wearing too much.

I thought I was putting on very thin layers ... but have discovered that I wasn't ... I was actually using too much intially.

Now, I don't use BE ... I use Pure Luxe ... but there is a learning curve with MMU ... and I have found the key is ... use WAY less than you think you need.

MMU is generally heavily pigmented ... and a single layer is often enough to even out your skin tone.

I always start with a very fine layer of "primer" ... with BE I think that would be Mineral Veil ... then I do my concealing using a very small brush. Once I've done any concealing I need, I then add one layer of foundation. I may touch up anything that's showing through.

I use blush or bronzer ... and then finishing powder ... all very thin layers.

I spritz to set ... and I'm done.

Also make sure that you've moisturized appropriately before putting on your MMU. I usually wait 5 to 15 minutes after moisturizing before putting on my MMU.

I'm still getting used to the application of MMU ... but I know I was shocked to discover that even though I thought I was using very little ... I really had to use even less.

HTH

Mary

I've heard that mineral mu does settle in tiny lines, espically under the eyes. Have you tried something like YSL Touche Eclat??? I've just purchased and started using the creme Line Eraser from Pure Luxe, that may help you also.
