Sounds interesting... I'm using Guerlain's Maxi Lash Mascara. I'm loving it, but don't mind trying Dr. Hauschka's Mascara since it got all the rave. Guess I'll have to drop by 1 of the local Dr. Hauschka counter. |

I purchased the mascara a couple months ago and was not a fan at all. It didn't really do anything for my lashes. Not that much of a transformation. If you're looking for the natural look then it would be a good buy. |

I notice that this mascara's second ingredient is alcohol.
Is that not at all drying or irritating? |

Veronica yes I found the alcohol content drying and irritating to my sensitive eyes, the best natural mascara I found is called EarthLab Mascara. I find it wears longer, gives me really nice long lashes, is entirely natural and does not irritate my eyes like Dr Hauschka.
I`ve tried many natural makes: Jane Iredale, Bare Minerals, Dr Hauschka, Organic Bambi Lashes but I always go back to EARTHLAB mascara, it is buildable, smudge and flake free and most of all it does not irritate nor dry out my eyes.
In fact my eye lashes have been growing longer since I started using it, I think it s because it is only made with natural oils like jojoba oil and loads of other nourishing stuff. If I put on 2-3 coats I can truly get thick, lush lashes!!! |

I love this mascara too - I take it in the purple, and tried both types.
The only thing I notice is that by end of day I do have a bit of residue under the lower lashes - moving, perspiring possibly? (just sitting in office though).
so I stopped applying to lower lashes. Nevertheless, the formula is great, this is probably the only mascara that is healthy to use
Def not waterproof, and removes amazingly easy under just running water. |
