I am currently using the MD Formulation product lines and I have oily skin. The results are ok so far. However, for some reason I'd still get whitehead on my forehead and below the chin areas. I heard many great reviews about the Dermologica products and was wondering if anyone knows of any products that are suitable for my skin type. I am mainly looking for products that will reduce whitehead, oil, make the enlarged pore smaller...and in general make my skin smoother and less blemishes.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

hi
I tried Dermalogica before and had come back to it from time to time but each time it disappoints me. It doesnt help clear my skin or anything.
But I know many ppl who has had great results from this range. So I think skin differs.
You could ask for samples from this website and see how it goes.
But I think you are better off sticking with MD Formulations. |

For the foundation, change it to Bare Minerals. I don't know if it works, but I heard many people say that it's good for your skin and won't clog pores for sure. Maybe you should use clean&clear for your skin. It's skin care products for teenagers which the target is oily skin, blackheads, whiteheads, mild or moderate acne. Although this is for teenagers, many adults use it also because they have oily skin as well. It doesn't cost a lot yet it gives results to many people. |

I have oily skin, as well, and I recently tried some of the grocery store brand acne remedies that I was able to use as a teen (I am 30 now) and I found that they made my face very red, tight and it ended up even oilier.
What I did find that helped is Vit C serum. I have been using a 20% vit c serum for about a year now, and my face is combo, almost, dare I say, normal.
I also like Cellex-C's betaplex line. It has high levels of aha and bha that help with exfoliation (keeping those pores clear). I use their line smoother (more for exfoliation than actual line smoothing) and their clear complexion cream. I also use skinceutical's phyto+ for lightening old acne scars and a bit of hyperpigmentation that I have. It has been working very well.
