hi thoughtcrime,
You must of read my mind. I am looking for one too! There is quite a variety listed on ebay. I noticed most are not new, but the prices are very reasonable.

Japonesque train cases are wonderful... ah, right.... you said AFFORDABLE! :P Unfortunately, Japonesque ones are VERY far from affordable. I contemplated getting one but just couldn't justify the cost Sad

I would *love* to get the one that opens sideways. That's the one that is pictured under the "cases" heading lower on this page: http://www.japonesque.com/products.php?item=ca_train

Those Japonesque ones are beautiful. How much are they? Yeah the sideway ones are awesome. So far the options are either E-bay or Sephora. I've seen some beautiful affordable ones doing a search until I get to the S/H part, and that's the killer Mad

My b/f bought me a simple one without the 'train' for my birthday a few years ago... it's just a space for items and without special compartments everything just gets stacked up one on top of the other thing so it's not as organised as I'd like... you guessed it, I'm also on the look-out for a 'TRAIN'. That one that expands out sideways is pretty much the one I want too :P

Mabsy, were you able to get prices for the cases? they don't show prices on this link... or am I just not searching hard enough? Japonesque only accept Money Order as well...Sad

Sorry, I forgot to post this link. Here are the prices for the Japonesque cases. I believe you get free shipping with any order over $60 (in the US only). I don't think this shop actually ships overseas though.

Thanks for the link Mabsy, have you seen the quality of the Japonesque cases in person? I'm thinking about ordering from

www.baresense.com
www.makeupkits.com

great prices for cosmetic train cases, and free shipping in U.S. , not sure about overseas.

Thanks for the links Thoughtcrime! I checked them out and www.baresense.com ships overseas! *yay* I might get one off them I think though I really had my heart set on a Japonesque. I have not seen the Japonesque cases in person but, back when I was salivating over one online, I read many good reviews about them (on MUA I think).
