 No, this is not a joke.... 
I've been roaming the forum and looking through all the older posts we have. In particular, I'm looking through all the epic threads that detail Carekate's major finds, which seem to usually induce multiple CVS buy-outs of a particular product, followed by multiple parcels being sent out by Carrie to many of the members here. Carrie has also kick-started the whole DIY recipies thread and dishes out the DIY advice despite being very time limited in terms of her access to the forum.
Consequently, on top of the discount recently introduced by Magda (I'm loving it!), I thought it'd be nice to also recognise Carrie's contributions to EDS members on the forum, and outside of the forum (through CPs). So, my dear Carrie  - there's a nice $100 voucher awaiting you in your PM Inbox  |

Holy cow!!!! I’ve been away for 10 days due to illness (severe cluster migraine attack) and a family emergency and I come back and see not only has the forum been renovated, but they’ve instituted the forum loyalty discount (to enable us shopaholics even more!  ) and I’ve been rewarded with another voucher on April Fool’s Day. Geez, maybe I out to go AWOL a little more often?!
Seriously though, I really am touched that you guys think I’m deserving of such a reward because the truth us that I get a real buzz when I’m able to share the news about a great new product and have others try it out and end up loving the item as much as I do but I do thank you for the voucher – I promise I won’t have any difficultly in figuring out what to buy!!
Well, ten days is a long time and I see I’ve got a ton of posts to catch up (not to mention actual work  ) so I better get busy....

Yes, she has really made contributions even since I've been on only a short time and it looks like she has been here a long time offering great tips and suggestions and coming up with her own beauty concoctions which takes a lot of thought and time.

Oh hell, that voucher is already long gone! I got some of the True pressed powder mineral foundation, the Babor B Young lip balm (did you honestly think there wouldn't be at least one lip product on the list??). Dr. Hauschka mascara in blue and Bronzing Concentrate and Jurlique Face Wash Cream. As luck would have it, I only had to pay $4.57 out of my pocket for all those items! Is EDS great or what?! |
